The Porsche Cayenne and Panamera S E-Hybrid models utilize a brilliantly engineered 3.0L Supercharged V6 sourced from the Volkswagen/Audi group. To keep the highly pressurized intake air dense and cool, this engine uses an advanced water-to-air intercooler system. Unlike traditional front-mounted intercoolers, these Charge Air Cooler Cores (often called "bricks") are bolted directly inside the aluminum supercharger housing.
