Does this compressor come pre-filled with oil?
Most OEM replacement compressors are shipped with a baseline amount of shipping oil to protect the internals during transit, but you must not assume it is the correct final amount. Your certified A/C technician must completely drain the shipping fluid, measure it, and refill the compressor with the exact amount and viscosity of PAG 46 oil required by the BMW service manual.
Does this fit the 2012+ BMW 528i?
No. This is a critical distinction. In 2011, the F10 528i utilized the naturally aspirated 3.0L inline-6 (N52). For the 2012 model year, BMW switched the 528i to the turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder (N20). This compressor strictly fits the inline-6 N52/N53 engines. The newer 4-cylinder engines require a completely different compressor.
Should I replace anything else while doing this job?
Yes. Whenever an A/C compressor is replaced, it is an industry-standard requirement (and necessary for warranty validity) to also replace the Receiver Drier / Accumulator (integrated into the A/C condenser on many F-chassis models). You should also replace the rubber O-rings on the suction and discharge lines.
