Will this fit my 4MATIC (All-Wheel Drive) Mercedes?
No. This specific wheel hub assembly (A2123300025) is engineered strictly for Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) / Base models. Vehicles equipped with the 4MATIC AWD system have front CV axles that pass through the center of the wheel bearing, requiring a completely different, splined open-hub design and a bearing that must be hydraulically pressed into the steering knuckle.
Do I need a hydraulic press to install this?
No. Unlike older or 4MATIC press-in wheel bearings, this is a complete, pre-assembled hub unit. It slides directly onto the front steering knuckle spindle. You will, however, need the appropriate tools to properly torque the central spindle retaining nut to Mercedes-Benz's exact factory specifications.
Is the ABS tone ring included in this hub?
Yes. The magnetic ABS tone ring is integrated directly into the inner seal of the bearing assembly. There are no additional external sensor rings to transfer over from your old hub.
Should I replace the left and right sides at the same time?
While it is not strictly mandatory like brake pads or suspension springs, it is highly recommended. If the right wheel bearing has failed from mileage and road wear, the left wheel bearing has endured the exact same stress and is usually close behind it.
