This listing covers a complete, side-specific rear air spring set for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 and CLS-Class C218 chassis. These pneumatic bellows are directionally specific and cannot be interchanged.

Note: These are standalone air bellows only. Unlike the front of the W212/C218 where the air spring and shock absorber are integrated into a single strut, the rear suspension separates the two components. This set replaces the pneumatic springs only, not the hydraulic shock absorbers.
When to Replace
- Rear end sagging or sitting on the tires after parking overnight

Why Replace as a Pair
Both bladders accumulate identical mileage and expansion cycles. A leaking left spring means the right has endured the same conditions and is equally at risk. Replacing as a matched set restores a level rear ride height and prevents a sudden failure from leaving the vehicle undriveable. Replacing the compressor relay simultaneously is strongly recommended if the compressor has been overworked due to a sustained leak.
