Why are there two different part numbers in this set?
Because of the tight packaging inside the Bentley engine bay, the airboxes on the W12 are mirrored. The two cylindrical air filters are highly side-specific. This convenient bundle includes both the dedicated Left Side (3W0129620B) and the dedicated Right Side (3W0129620C), ensuring you have the exact correct fitment for both airboxes.
Will these fit the Bentley V8 models?
No. These large cylindrical air filters are engineered exclusively for the 6.0L W12 engines. The 4.0L V8 models utilize entirely different, flat panel-style air filters. Please verify your engine type before purchasing.
How often should I replace my air filters?
Bentley generally recommends replacing engine air filters every 20,000 to 30,000 miles. However, if you live in an environment with heavy dust, pollen, or frequent construction, you should inspect and replace them every 10,000 to 15,000 miles to prevent turbocharger strain.
Can I just blow these out with compressed air and reuse them?
No. These are disposable, high-filtration dry paper elements. Blowing compressed air through them will actually tear the microscopic paper fibers, allowing fine dust to bypass the filter and sandblast the delicate compressor wheels of your turbochargers. Once they are dirty, they must be discarded and replaced.
