This is strictly the Wheel Bearing. The wheel hub is the splined metal flange (with the lug bolt holes) that physically presses into the center bore of this bearing. If your wheel bearing is making a humming noise, you need this part. If your actual metal hub is bent or the splines are stripped, you will need to purchase the hub flange separately.

One side of this bearing contains a highly sensitive magnetic encoder ring that provides the wheel speed signal directly to your ABS and Traction Control sensors. If your mechanic accidentally presses this bearing into the knuckle backward, the ABS sensor cannot read it.
