Does this kit include the black vertical grille inserts, or just the chrome trim pieces?
This kit includes ONLY the 2 trim pieces: the main chrome grille surround/frame (36A853653A) and chrome frame (36A853667F & 36A853667G). It does NOT include the vertical black slat inserts (center grille inserts - part numbers 36A853683 and 36A853684) that create the matrix pattern inside the chrome frame. Those inserts are separate components. If your existing black inserts are undamaged, you can reuse them with this new chrome trim. If you need the complete grille including both chrome trim AND black inserts, you'll need to order those insert parts separately or look for a complete 5-piece grille assembly kit. This chrome-only kit is ideal when only the chrome trim is damaged, peeling, or needs replacement while the black inserts are still in good condition.
