Why OEM
The 458's rack ratio and hydraulic circuit are factory-calibrated to the platform's mid-engine weight distribution and unassisted steering setup. Aftermarket units introduce rack travel and ratio deviations that corrupt steering feel and self-centering on a platform where steering feedback is a defining characteristic.

Installation Note
Steering box replacement requires full four-wheel alignment and hydraulic system bleed to Ferrari spec post-installation. Inspect tie rods, rack mounts, and steering column coupling before fitting.
