Guide Apr 02, 2026 14 min read By Marcus Elite Top Trusted Aftermarket Brands for Supercar Modifications Because on a car worth six figures, the brand behind the part matters as much as the part itself. Modifying a supercar or high-performance luxury vehicle is one of the most rewarding things an enthusiast can do. It is also one of the quickest ways to destroy something irreplaceable if the wrong parts enter the equation. A sub-standard exhaust gasket, a poorly manufactured suspension component, or a carbon fiber body panel that was never properly engineered for the application — these things do not just underperform. They can cause cascading failures that cost far more to repair than the upgrade was ever worth. This guide exists because that fear is legitimate. The aftermarket is enormous, and the range of quality is equally enormous. At one end, you have brands that supply directly to OEM manufacturers and racing teams. At the other, you have discount-bin components dressed up with aggressive marketing and shiny packaging. What follows is a curated look at the aftermarket and Euro OEM brands we carry and trust — the names that serious owners, race engineers, and factory tuning divisions actually reach for when it matters. For each brand, we explain what they do, why their parts command a premium, and what vehicles they are best suited to. Why Brand Selection is Different on a Supercar On an everyday commuter, a budget brake pad or off-brand oxygen sensor might perform acceptably for years. The tolerances are wide, the driving conditions are predictable, and the consequences of marginal failure are usually minor inconvenience rather than catastrophe. That math changes entirely when the vehicle is a Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche, or high-output Maserati. These cars operate within much tighter engineering margins. Engines producing 600 or 700 horsepower are already working at the upper edge of their designed parameters. Braking systems are calibrated for a specific friction coefficient. Aerodynamic components are developed in wind tunnels at specific speeds and temperatures. When you introduce a part that was not engineered to those same standards, you are not just risking a rattling exhaust — you are introducing an unknown variable into a system that was designed to leave no unknowns. Trusted aftermarket brands address this by doing the same foundational work the OEM engineers did: dyno testing, track validation, metallurgical analysis, and thermal cycling. The cost difference between a respected brand and a generic one reflects that work. So does the performance gap — and the warranty coverage. The Brands We Carry and Why They Earned Their Reputation 01 Akrapovic Slovenia / Racing Pedigree | Exhaust Systems EXHAUST There is a reason Akrapovic supplies exhaust systems to MotoGP teams, World Superbike championships, and factory motorsport programs at BMW, Porsche, and Lamborghini. Founded in 1990 by Igor Akrapovic, the company built its reputation around one discipline: titanium and carbon fiber exhaust engineering done at the highest possible level. Every system is designed to reduce backpressure, increase scavenging efficiency, and liberate power that factory exhaust systems sacrifice to meet emissions and noise regulations. The titanium alloys used are aerospace-grade, the welds are TIG-finished by hand, and the dyno figures are published — not estimated. Weight savings of 30–50% over factory exhaust systems on comparable vehicles Measurable power gains of 10–30 hp depending on application and tune Full fitment kits available for Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, BMW M, and Mercedes-AMG Evolution Line (stainless), Slip-On Line, and full Titanium systems available at different price points 02 Novitec Group Germany | Full Vehicle Tuning Systems COMPLETE TUNE Novitec occupies a unique position in the aftermarket: they are not simply a parts manufacturer. They are a complete vehicle development house that happens to sell its components to the public. Their work on Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Rolls-Royce models begins with the entire drivetrain and ends with bespoke aerodynamics, custom interiors, and forged wheel programs. The key distinction is that Novitec does not guess at what works — they develop, validate, and certify. Many of their engine management and supercharger upgrades have been developed in partnership with specialist suppliers who also supply OEM brands. When you install a Novitec component, you are installing something that has been engineered as part of a complete system, not a standalone afterthought. ECU calibration and power upgrade kits developed on the specific production engine variant Carbon fiber aerodynamic packages for Ferrari 488/F8, SF90, Roma, Lamborghini Huracan/Urus, and more Forged wheel programs in sizes and offsets designed specifically for each vehicle Sport spring and coilover systems developed to maintain ride quality while lowering center of gravity 03 Mansory Germany | Luxury Exterior and Interior Customization PRESTIGE Mansory's name is synonymous with visible, dramatic transformation. The brand has built a global following among owners who want their vehicles to be unmistakably distinct — and their craftsmanship is what separates them from the imitators who followed in their wake. Mansory carbon fiber components are produced in-house using pre-preg carbon fabric in autoclave-cured molds, the same manufacturing process used by Formula 1 constructors. Interior programs involve full leather re-trimming, carbon fiber accenter panels, and bespoke stitching performed by hand. For owners who want the visual drama without compromising structural integrity, Mansory is the benchmark. Complete wide-body aero packages for Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and McLaren Autoclave-cured pre-preg carbon fiber guarantees consistent panel stiffness and surface finish Interior transformation programs including Alcantara headliners, custom steering wheels, and carbon dash inlays Performance upgrade packages (exhaust, ECU, intercoolers) available alongside visual programs 04 Brembo Italy | Brake Systems and Components BRAKING Brembo has supplied brake systems to Formula 1, MotoGP, and World Rally Championship teams for decades. They also supply factory brake systems — as the OEM — to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and McLaren. When you upgrade to aftermarket Brembo components, you are frequently installing the same engineering that those manufacturers chose for their highest-performance variants. The company's GT and GT-R brake kit lines translate race technology into road-going upgrade packages. Their monobloc calipers are machined from a single aluminum billet, eliminating the potential flex points that exist in two-piece assemblies, and their disc compounds are formulated for specific temperature operating ranges matched to each vehicle application. Factory OEM supplier to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and McLaren — the upgrade is often the same hardware at higher spec GT and GT-R big brake kit programs for 350–650+ horsepower applications Performance pad compound programs (including track-specific compounds) with matching rotor specs Carbon-ceramic disc programs for vehicles that demand maximum fade resistance under repeated hard stops 05 KW Suspensions Germany | Suspension Systems and Coilovers HANDLING Founded in Germany and carrying extensive motorsport validation credentials, KW Suspensions produces the coilover systems of choice for owners who want genuine handling improvements without sacrificing the livability that makes a grand touring car worth driving every day. KW's Variant 3 and HLS hydraulic lift systems have become standard recommendations among Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini specialists worldwide — largely because the brand does the engineering work to ensure their systems are matched to the specific spring rates, damper curves, and geometry of each vehicle platform. Their inox stainless steel construction and 5-year warranty reflect the confidence that comes from building products to a real engineering brief. Variant 1, 2, and 3 series offer progressively more independent adjustment for rebound and compression HLS (Hydraulic Lift System) compatible kits solve the low ground clearance problem on slammed supercars for driveways and speed bumps Street Comfort, Sport, and Competition lines matched to driving use cases rather than one-size-fits-all setups Developed with and used by Porsche GT department, Ferrari Challenge teams, and Lamborghini specialists globally 06 Capristo Automotive Germany | Exhaust and Valvetronic Systems EXHAUST Capristo is the name Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini owners reach for when they want precision German engineering applied to their exhaust system. What makes Capristo particularly interesting is their valvetronic technology: electronically controlled exhaust valves that allow the driver to toggle between a comfortable touring note and a full, unrestricted race sound at the push of a button. The system integrates with the vehicle's OBD port and requires no permanent modification to the factory wiring harness. Capristo systems are manufactured from aerospace-grade stainless steel or titanium and are designed to fit with OEM precision — because they are developed on the actual production vehicle, not adapted from a generic template. Valvetronic valve system allows sound mode switching without any structural modification to the vehicle Full cat-back and sport catalyst programs for Ferrari 458/488/F8, Porsche 911/GT3, Lamborghini Huracan/Aventador German TUV certification available on selected systems for road legality High-grade 321 stainless or titanium construction with X-pipe crossover designs for improved exhaust scavenging 07 HRE Performance Wheels USA / European Fitments | Forged Wheels WHEELS HRE is the wheel brand chosen by the world's most demanding buyers — not because of marketing, but because their forged aluminum monoblock wheels represent the engineering ceiling of what a road-going wheel can be. Each wheel is forged from a single billet of 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum, then CNC-machined to tolerances that are tighter than most production engine components. The result is a wheel that is dramatically lighter than a cast alternative at the same size, stiffer under lateral load, and precisely balanced from the moment it leaves the machine. HRE's Flow Form line brings similar technology to a broader price range, and their custom fitment program means an exact offset and diameter specification for every vehicle in the supercar segment. Monoblock forged construction removes all joint points and fasteners that introduce potential flex Weight reductions of 20–40% over factory cast wheels of equivalent size — critical for unsprung mass reduction Custom finish programs including PVD, powder coat, polished, and brushed options Direct fitment specifications developed for Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche, and luxury GT platforms 08 Eventuri UK | Carbon Fiber Intake Systems AIR INTAKE Eventuri entered the market with a specific and credible thesis: the factory intake system on most performance cars is not the limiting factor, but a properly engineered replacement can improve both power delivery and throttle response by improving airflow management at the inlet. Their carbon fiber intake housings are not just aesthetic — they are designed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis to direct air smoothly through the filter and into the throttle body without the turbulence that reduces volumetric efficiency. The carbon construction also acts as a heat shield, keeping intake air temperatures lower than a metal or plastic equivalent, which directly improves air density and combustion efficiency. CFD-validated inlet geometry for each specific engine application — not a universal kit Pre-preg carbon fiber construction provides structural rigidity and thermal insulation simultaneously Measurable MAF sensor signal improvements through smoother air velocity profiles at the sensor location Available for BMW M series, Audi RS, Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche turbocharged applications 09 Milltek Sport UK | Stainless Exhaust and OPF/GPF Delete Systems EXHAUST Milltek has built four decades of exhaust manufacturing expertise in the UK, making them one of the most trusted names for European performance cars that may not have dedicated Akrapovic or Capristo fitments. Their T304 stainless steel construction and mandrel-bent pipework are hallmarks of professional exhaust manufacturing — not the press-bent tubing that characterizes budget systems. For turbocharged VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) vehicles, McLaren 570S/600LT, and BMW applications, Milltek offers OPF (Otto Particle Filter) and GPF delete systems that remove the most restrictive emissions hardware while remaining within sensible bounds for track and performance use. Their resonated and non-resonated options give owners genuine control over the final sound character. T304 aerospace stainless steel mandrel-bent pipework for consistent cross-section through every bend OPF/GPF delete options restore exhaust flow on newer Euro 6d-compliant performance vehicles Resonated and non-resonated variants for owners who want refinement vs. maximum acoustic presence Full cat-back programs covering Porsche, McLaren, BMW M, and Audi RS fitments 10 Pirelli PZero Trofeo / Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Italy / France | Ultra-High Performance Tires TIRES Tires are not a glamorous upgrade, but they are the most important contact point between every engineering improvement you make and the road surface. The Pirelli PZero Trofeo R and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R represent the upper tier of road-legal performance rubber — the same compounds used as factory fitments on Ferrari Pista, McLaren Track Pack, and Lamborghini Performante variants. These tires operate on a fundamentally different rubber compound to standard performance tires, with higher silica content, softer tread blocks, and a construction optimized for lateral grip at elevated temperatures. They are not for high-mileage daily drivers, but for owners who want the chassis to perform at its actual limit rather than being held back by the tires that came with the car. OEM fitment on Ferrari 488 Pista, McLaren 720S Track Pack, Lamborghini Huracan Performante, and Porsche GT3 RS Compound optimized to reach operating temperature within two to three aggressive corners rather than several laps Tread life significantly shorter than touring tires — intended as a performance upgrade, not an economy choice Available in fitments covering 19–21" wheel sizes used across the supercar segment Quick Reference: Brand Specialties at a Glance Brand Best Known For Akrapovic Titanium/carbon exhaust systems, MotoGP & OEM supplier Novitec Group Full vehicle tuning, Ferrari / Lamborghini / McLaren specialist Mansory Autoclave carbon aero, prestige interior transformation Brembo Big brake kits, OEM supplier to Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche KW Suspensions German coilovers, hydraulic lift systems, motorsport-validated Capristo Valvetronic exhaust, precise German fitment, TUV certified options HRE Performance Wheels Forged monoblock wheels, custom fitment, aerospace aluminum Eventuri CFD-designed carbon fiber intake systems, thermal management Milltek Sport Stainless cat-back systems, OPF/GPF delete, VAG & McLaren fitments Pirelli PZero Trofeo / Michelin PSC2 Factory supercar tire compounds, OEM spec rubber upgrades How to Choose the Right Upgrade for Your Vehicle The best aftermarket parts are not necessarily the most expensive ones — they are the ones that were developed for your specific vehicle, your specific driving use case, and your specific performance goals. Here are the questions worth asking before any purchase: Is this part designed specifically for my model year and variant, or is it a generic fitment? The brands above all produce vehicle-specific applications, not universal kits. Does the manufacturer publish dyno data, weight specifications, or thermal testing results for this product? Reputable brands stand behind measurable claims. Will this modification affect my vehicle's emissions compliance or road legality in my region? Exhaust and intake modifications carry regulatory implications that vary by country and state. Am I upgrading one component of a system, or the system as a whole? A high-flow exhaust system produces its best results when the tune, intake, and mid-pipe are matched — piecemeal upgrades often underdeliver. Do I have a relationship with a specialist installer who has experience with this brand and this vehicle? The quality of the installation is as important as the quality of the component. A Final Word on Investment The brands in this guide charge what they charge because of what it costs to engineer, validate, and manufacture components to a standard that genuinely improves a vehicle worth $150,000 or more. That is not marketing — it is the reality of aerospace materials, human craftsmanship, and the liability that comes with attaching your name to a modification on a machine that will be driven hard. When you buy a Brembo GT kit or an Akrapovic Titanium system through a specialist supplier, you are paying for the engineering, the testing, the warranty, and the accountability that comes with a brand that has been proving itself on race circuits for decades.
