BMW 7 Series Parts | Genuine OEM — E65, F01, G11, G70

OEM BMW 7 Series Parts

The BMW 7 Series is the flagship saloon, and the most technically complex car BMW builds. Air suspension across every modern generation, V8 and V12 powertrains, active roll stabilisation, and a dense electronic architecture mean genuine OEM specification matters more here than anywhere else in the range. Our catalogue covers the E65 and E66, F01 and F02, G11 and G12, and the current G70 — including 730i, 740i, 750i, the long-wheelbase variants, and the N74 V12 cars.

Every part is sourced through the official BMW OEM supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order — on this model in particular, ordering from a model-year match is unreliable.

Generations of the BMW 7 Series

E65 / E66 (2001–2008) — N62 V8 and N73 V12. The generation that introduced iDrive and electronic gear selection, and the one where age-related electrical faults are most common. Valve stem seals and the coolant transfer pipe are the defining N62 issues; air suspension components and the EMF parking brake actuator are the other recurring items.

F01 / F02 (2008–2015) — N55 six, N63 V8, N74 V12 in the 760i, plus the ActiveHybrid 7. The N63 places turbochargers and cooling hardware in the engine vee, making leaks labour-intensive to reach. Air suspension, active roll stabilisation and the integral rear axle are the chassis service priorities.

G11 / G12 (2015–2022) — CLAR platform with carbon core construction. B58 six, N63 V8, N74 V12, and the 745e plug-in hybrid. Two-axle air suspension is standard. Coolant distributor housings on B-series engines are the known failure point.

G70 (2022–) — The current car, including the i7 electric variants. High-voltage components, battery-circuit coolant pumps and charging hardware are model-year specific and revised frequently. VIN confirmation is the only reliable route on this generation.

About BMW 7 Series Parts

Air suspension. This is the system that defines 7 Series ownership costs. Every modern generation runs air springs front and rear with a compressor, valve block and ride height sensors, and the components form a linked system rather than four independent corners. A leaking air spring left in service will destroy the compressor by making it run continuously — by far the most common way a manageable repair becomes an expensive one. Diagnose and replace the spring and compressor together, and inspect the valve block and lines at the same time. In GCC heat, air spring rubber ages faster than the European design case assumed. Brakes. A 7 Series is heavy, and brake specification varies by wheel and package option. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use — replace it with the pads. On cars with the electromechanical parking brake, the rear calipers must be retracted electronically before any pad service; forcing them mechanically damages the actuator. BMW brake pads & rotors →

Suspension and steering. Beyond the air springs, front control arm bushings and the integral rear axle links are the recurring wear items, with the familiar progression: a knock over expansion joints, then vague on-centre steering, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. Active roll stabilisation on V8 and V12 cars adds hydraulic actuators and lines that should be inspected whenever suspension work is done. Control arms → · Wheel hubs & bearings →

Cooling. N62, N63 and N74 engines carry cooling hardware in the vee, so a seeping hose or thermostat housing is expensive to reach — replace clamps, hoses and O-rings while the area is already open rather than returning for a second visit. The N62 coolant transfer pipe is a known and labour-intensive failure. On B58 engines the plastic coolant distributor housing seeps long before any temperature warning appears. The first evidence of a leak on these cars is usually a sweet smell and a slowly falling expansion tank, not a warning light. Coolant parts → · Radiators →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model — the N62, N63, N74 and B58 all take different oil filter elements. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines: the sump plug seal and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Cabin filters on a car with multi-zone climate control are a larger job than on smaller BMWs, and in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Transmission and mounts. The ZF 8HP automatic across F01, G11 and G70, and the 6HP on E65, take different fluid specifications. The 8HP is described as lifetime-fill but degrades well ahead of that in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals, and a fluid and pan-filter service at that stage costs a fraction of a mechatronic unit. Check the transmission mount alongside; a failed mount produces a driveline clunk regularly misdiagnosed as a gearbox fault. Transmission parts → · Transmission mounts → · BMW engine mounts →

Electrical and sensors. The 7 Series carries more modules than any other BMW, and most faults presented as module failures turn out to be sensor, earth or connector faults — ride height sensors, crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded connectors at the tail lamp clusters and boot lid harness. Battery condition deserves specific mention: these cars draw a meaningful parasitic load, and a degraded battery is the single most common source of the multi-module fault cascade that looks catastrophic on a diagnostic scan and clears entirely once voltage is restored. Always confirm battery and charging health before condemning a module. For 745e and i7 models, send us the VIN for anything on the high-voltage side. Electrical parts → · Oxygen sensors →

Genuine BMW 7 Series Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM accessories and trim for the 7 Series — interior trim, exterior styling, rear cabin fittings and model-specific components. Trim part numbers on this model are tied tightly to interior colour code, wood or trim finish and equipment level, and long-wheelbase cars differ from standard-wheelbase throughout the rear cabin. Send your VIN with any trim enquiry. Browse body parts → or contact our team.

FAQ

Which 7 Series generations do you supply? E65/E66, F01/F02, G11/G12 and the current G70, including long-wheelbase and V12 variants. Parts are mapped to chassis code and production date rather than model name alone.

My car is sitting low on one corner — what do I need? Usually a leaking air spring. Replace the compressor at the same time: a compressor that has been running against a leak has been overworked and typically fails soon after, so replacing the spring alone often means a second repair. Have the valve block and lines checked too.

Are long-wheelbase parts different? Body panels, rear doors, driveshafts and much of the rear cabin trim differ between standard and long-wheelbase cars. Always specify which you have.

My car has multiple warning lights after standing — is a module dead? Check the battery first. A degraded battery is the most common cause of a multi-module fault cascade on the 7 Series, and the faults usually clear entirely once voltage is restored.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
