OEM Porsche Taycan Parts

The Taycan is Porsche's first series-production electric car, built on the J1 platform with an 800-volt architecture and a two-speed rear transmission. Our catalogue covers the Taycan from 2019, including 4S, Turbo, Turbo S and GTS variants across saloon, Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo bodies, and the substantially updated 2024 model.

Every part is matched to chassis code and production date. Send us your VIN before ordering — on an electric car with frequent mid-cycle revisions, model year alone is not reliable.

What an EV Changes About Parts

Brakes last longer and corrode more. Regenerative braking does most of the deceleration, so friction brakes work far less than on a combustion car — with the result that Taycan discs frequently fail on corrosion rather than wear. Pads can be barely worn while the discs are unserviceable. Inspect on condition rather than assuming low wear means serviceable. Porsche Surface Coated Brakes (PSCB) with their tungsten carbide coating and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) were both offered, and each requires its own specific pad compound — conventional pads on a coated or ceramic disc will damage the surface, and neither can be resurfaced. Confirm which system the car carries before ordering. Porsche brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →

Battery thermal management is the cooling system. The Taycan runs multiple separate coolant circuits — for the battery pack, the drive units and the power electronics — each with its own pumps, valves and coolers. In GCC ambient temperatures these work considerably harder than the European design case assumed, and battery cooling performance directly affects both fast-charging speed and long-term pack health. A car that has become slow to fast-charge in summer is often a thermal management issue rather than a pack degradation issue. Coolant pumps and the associated valve blocks are the components that fail. Coolant parts → · Radiators → · Water pumps →

Air suspension. Adaptive air suspension is standard across the range, and on a car of this mass it works hard. Struts, compressor, valve block, air lines and ride height sensors form one connected system rather than four independent corners. The failure chain is consistent: a strut develops a leak, the compressor runs continuously to compensate, and the compressor burns out second. If the car settles overnight or the compressor runs longer than it used to, act immediately — catching the strut early often saves the compressor. Replace struts in axle pairs. Suspension and tyres wear faster. The Taycan is heavy and delivers torque instantly, which loads bushings, hub bearings and tyres harder than a combustion Porsche of similar size. Control arm bushings wear on a schedule set by mass rather than mileage, and the usual progression applies — a knock over expansion joints, then vague on-centre steering, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. A four-wheel alignment is required after any arm is disturbed, and rear-axle steering cars require the actuator to be accounted for. Control arms → · Wheel hubs & bearings →

What the Taycan does not need. No oil filter, no air filter, no spark plugs, no exhaust, no fuel system, no gearbox fluid service in the conventional sense. Cabin filters remain, and in Gulf dust they deserve a materially shorter interval than the book figure — they are among the few routine consumables on the car. Cabin & air filters →

High-voltage components and charging hardware. Charging port assemblies, onboard chargers, high-voltage cabling and battery-circuit components are model-year specific and revised frequently, and the 2024 update changed a great deal. Send us the VIN rather than ordering from a model-year match. High-voltage work requires qualified handling — we supply the parts, but this is not DIY territory. Electrical parts →

Battery condition and the 12-volt system. Worth naming separately: the Taycan still has a conventional 12-volt battery, and when it degrades the car throws a multi-module fault cascade that looks alarming on a diagnostic scan and clears entirely once voltage is restored. Confirm 12-volt health before condemning any module. This catches people out precisely because the car has a large high-voltage pack.

Genuine Taycan Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components for the Taycan, Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo. Body panels differ between the three bodies, and the 2024 update revised lighting and front-end components — send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. Browse body parts → or contact our team.

Why Buy Taycan Parts at EuroParts360?

  • Genuine and OEM sourced — components matched to factory specification
  • EV-aware — we stock what the car actually consumes rather than combustion service parts it does not use
  • Brake system identification — steel, PSCB and PCCB compounds distinguished before dispatch
  • Air suspension specialists — struts, compressors, valve blocks and sensors as a matched system
  • Model-year verification — essential on a platform revised as frequently as this one
  • Warranty-backed — covered under our standard warranty policy

FAQ

My discs are corroded but the pads look new. That is normal on an EV. Regenerative braking means friction brakes see little use, so discs corrode before pads wear. Inspect on condition rather than pad thickness.

Can I fit standard pads to PSCB or PCCB? No. Both coated and ceramic discs require their own specific compounds, and neither surface can be resurfaced once damaged. Confirm which system your car has first.

The car has become slow to fast-charge in summer. Frequently a thermal management issue rather than battery degradation — coolant pumps and valve blocks in the battery circuit are the components that fail. Worth diagnosing before assuming the pack is the problem.

Multiple warning lights appeared at once. Check the 12-volt battery first, not the high-voltage pack. A degraded 12-volt battery produces a multi-module cascade that clears once voltage is restored, and it catches Taycan owners out regularly.

Does the Taycan need oil changes? No. Cabin filters, brake fluid, coolant and tyres are the routine items, and in Gulf conditions cabin filters deserve a shorter interval than the book figure.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
