OEM Audi A8 Parts

The A8 is Audi's flagship saloon and the model where the marque introduces its most complex systems first — aluminium Space Frame construction, air suspension as standard, and extensive driver assistance hardware. Our catalogue covers the D3 (2002–2010), D4 (2010–2017) and D5 (2017 onward), including long-wheelbase L variants and the S8.

Every part is matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. On this model VIN verification is not a formality: the A8 carries the widest engine spread in the range, from four-cylinder through V6, V8, W12 and TDI, and air suspension calibration is model-specific. Send us your VIN before ordering.

Generations of the A8

D3 (2002–2010) — Now a mature platform with a committed independent service base. Air suspension struts and compressor dominate the workload, alongside cooling plastics and multi-link front suspension bushings. Parts supply depends increasingly on independent channels, and some items are superseded.

D4 (2010–2017) — The generation with the largest active parc today. 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6, 4.0 TFSI V8, W12 and TDI diesels, plus the S8. The 2013 facelift revised lighting and front-end components. Air suspension, the 3.0 TFSI thermostat housing in the vee, and supercharger intercooler pump failures are the recurring items.

D5 (2017–) — 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, predictive active suspension on some variants, all-wheel steering, and extensive driver assistance hardware that is model-year specific and frequently revised.

About A8 Parts

Air suspension — the dominant cost. Every A8 runs air springs. Struts, compressor, valve block, air lines and ride height sensors form one connected system rather than four independent corners. The failure chain is consistent: a strut develops a leak, the compressor runs continuously to compensate, and the compressor burns out second. If the car settles overnight, rises slowly, or the compressor runs longer than it used to, act immediately — catching the strut early often saves the compressor. Replace struts in axle pairs. In GCC ambient temperatures the compressor works considerably harder than the European design case assumed. Air suspension compressors → · Shock absorbers → · Axle & steering →

Suspension bushings. Beyond the air springs, the multi-link front suspension carries four control arms per side supporting a heavy aluminium car. The upper forward arms wear first, presenting as a knock over expansion joints, then vague on-centre steering, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. Because the arms share load, replace the affected side as a set. A four-wheel alignment is required afterwards. Upper control arms → · Lower control arms → · Wheel hubs & bearings →

Cooling. The 3.0 TFSI V6 and 4.0 TFSI V8 place cooling and charge-air hardware in the engine vee, where access dominates the labour on any repair — the argument for replacing hoses, clamps, O-rings and the thermostat housing while the area is already open rather than returning for each. Supercharged cars run an intercooler circuit with its own electric pump, separate from the main loop and frequently overlooked. W12 cars are more densely packaged again. Stay with G13 coolant specification. Coolant parts → · Radiators → · Water pumps →

Brakes. Vehicle mass makes brakes a consumable, and specification follows the PR code on the vehicle data sticker rather than the model. S8 cars differ substantially from the standard car. The wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use — replace it with the pads. Audi brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family, and the A8 has carried an unusually wide spread. Audi's service regime assumes VW 504 00 or 508 00 specification oil. Order the complete service kit — the oil filter housing O-ring and sump plug sealing washer are single-use. Cabin filters matter more on this car than most: cabin air quality is part of what the owner paid for, and Gulf dust loads a filter quickly. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission. The A8 uses the ZF 8HP torque-converter automatic across most of its modern range, with quattro all-wheel drive. Described as lifetime-fill, it degrades well ahead of that assumption in a heavy car in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals, and a fluid and pan-filter service then costs a fraction of a mechatronic unit. The quattro centre differential and transfer components carry their own fluid requirements. Transmission parts → · Transmission mounts → · Audi engine mounts →

Electrical and sensors. Battery condition deserves checking before anything else. The A8 carries a heavy parasitic load, and a degraded battery produces a multi-module fault cascade — air suspension errors, driver assistance faults, comfort system failures — that looks catastrophic on a scan and clears once voltage is restored. Beyond that, most module failures are sensor, earth or connector faults. Driver assistance cameras and radar are model-year specific and generally require calibration after replacement. Genuine A8 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components for the A8 and A8 L. Trim numbers are tied to interior colour, veneer and hide codes and equipment level, and long-wheelbase cars differ from standard in several body and interior items — send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. FAQ

My A8 settles overnight — what is failing? Almost always an air strut leaking down, not the compressor. The compressor failure that often follows is a consequence of it running continuously. Replace the strut early, in axle pairs, and you may save the compressor.

Multiple warning lights appeared at once. Check battery voltage and charging health first. On this car a degraded battery is the most common cause of a multi-module cascade, and the faults typically clear once voltage is restored.

How do I know which engine my car has? The engine code appears on your VIN record and the engine bay label. Given the spread across V6, V8, W12 and TDI, it is the most useful detail you can give us.

Can you still supply D3 parts? Many, though some are superseded. Send the OEM part number or VIN and we will give you an honest assessment and a realistic estimate.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
