Aston Martin Brake pads

Genuine OEM Aston Martin Brake Pads & Disc Rotors

Aston Martin brake specification varies by model and by option package rather than by badge alone. A DB11 V8 and a DB11 V12 carry different front disc diameters, and cars specified with carbon ceramic brakes use entirely different pads, discs and calipers from the equivalent steel-braked car. Our catalogue covers the DB9, DB11, DBS, Vantage, Vanquish, DB12 and DBX.

Carbon Ceramic Is a Different System

CCM discs are standard on DBS and the current Vantage in certain markets, and were a factory option across DB11 and DBX. Conventional pad compounds destroy the ceramic friction layer within a single service interval, and CCM discs cannot be resurfaced — replacement is the only remedy, at many times the cost of the pads that caused the damage. Confirm your brake specification against the build sheet before ordering.

What to Know Before Ordering

  • The wear sensor is single-use and a separate part number front and rear. Replace it with the pads rather than reusing it.
  • Discs and pads work as a pair. New pads bedding onto a lipped or unevenly worn disc compromise both.
  • Cars that stand develop pitting under a pad parked against a wet disc, and that does not clear with use. Given the low annual mileage typical of these cars, inspect rather than assume the discs are serviceable.
  • Heat is the limiting factor here. Gulf ambient temperatures mean discs and pads run closer to their fade threshold than the European design case assumed.
