Audi Q8 Parts | Genuine OEM — 4M, SQ8, RS Q8

OEM Audi Q8 Parts

The Q8 is Audi's flagship SUV coupé, sharing its MLB Evo platform with the Q7, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus. Our catalogue covers the 4M generation from 2018, including the SQ8, RS Q8 and the plug-in hybrid TFSI e variants.

Every part is matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. The platform sharing is the practical fact worth knowing: some components cross-reference across the VW Group SUVs and many are Audi-specific or Q8-specific, and the boundaries are not intuitive. The RS Q8 in particular carries substantially different brake, suspension and cooling hardware. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.

The Q8 Range

Q8 (2018–) — The standard car, with 3.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI engines, 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, adaptive air suspension and optional all-wheel steering. A 2023 facelift revised lighting and front-end components.

SQ8 and RS Q8 — 4.0-litre V8 variants with uprated brakes, suspension and cooling. The RS Q8 was offered with carbon ceramic brakes and carries active anti-roll control. Many components on these cars do not cross-reference to the standard Q8.

Q8 TFSI e — Plug-in hybrid with a high-voltage battery, its own battery cooling circuit and charging hardware, all model-year specific and revised frequently.

About Q8 Parts

Air suspension — the dominant cost. Adaptive air suspension is fitted across the range. Struts, compressor, valve block, air lines and ride height sensors form one connected system rather than four independent corners. The failure chain is consistent: a strut develops a leak, the compressor runs continuously to compensate, and the compressor burns out second. If the vehicle settles overnight or the compressor runs longer than it used to, act immediately — catching the strut early often saves the compressor. Replace struts in axle pairs. In GCC heat and on a vehicle of this mass the compressor works considerably harder than the European design case assumed. On RS Q8 cars, active anti-roll control adds its own hydraulic components to the picture. Air suspension compressors → · Shock absorbers → · Axle & steering →

Brakes and carbon ceramic. Specification follows the PR code on the vehicle data sticker rather than the model. The RS Q8 was offered with carbon ceramic discs, and the distinction is absolute: conventional pad compounds destroy a ceramic friction layer within a single service interval, and ceramic discs cannot be resurfaced. Confirm the brake specification before ordering anything in this category. Vehicle mass makes brakes a genuine consumable on the standard cars too, and on the TFSI e regenerative braking means discs frequently fail on corrosion rather than wear. The wear sensor is single-use. Audi brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →

Suspension bushings. Beyond the air springs, control arm bushings carry well over two tonnes and wear on a schedule set by mass rather than mileage — a knock over expansion joints, then vague on-centre steering, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. Replace the affected side as a set on multi-link corners. A four-wheel alignment is required afterwards, and all-wheel steering cars require the rear actuator to be accounted for. Cooling. The 3.0 TFSI and 4.0 TFSI place cooling and charge-air hardware in the engine vee, where access dominates the labour — the argument for replacing hoses, clamps, O-rings and the thermostat housing while the area is already open. A heavy SUV in Gulf traffic works its cooling pack hard, and radiator stacks block with dust between the fins, producing overheating that clears on the move. Stay with G13 coolant specification. Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model year — 3.0 TFSI, 4.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI all take different elements. Diesel cars add fuel filter, DPF and AdBlue considerations. Order the complete service kit — the oil filter housing O-ring and sump plug sealing washer are single-use. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a materially shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission and driveline. The Q8 uses the ZF 8HP torque-converter automatic with quattro. Described as lifetime-fill, it degrades well ahead of that in a heavy vehicle in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals. The transfer case and differentials carry their own fluids and their own service requirements and are routinely overlooked. Transmission parts → · Transmission mounts → · Audi engine mounts →

Electrical, sensors and PHEV. Check battery and charging health before condemning any module — low voltage produces a multi-module cascade including air suspension errors that clears once restored. Driver assistance cameras and radar are model-year specific and generally require calibration after replacement. For TFSI e variants, battery-circuit coolant pumps, charging port assemblies and high-voltage components are model-year specific — send the VIN rather than ordering from a model-year match. Genuine Q8 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components for the Q8. Lighting and bumper parts changed at the 2023 facelift, and SQ8 and RS Q8 body components are variant-specific — send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. Browse body parts → or contact our team.

FAQ

My Q8 sits low overnight. An air strut leaking down, in almost every case. The compressor failure that often follows is a consequence of it running continuously. Replace the strut early, in axle pairs.

Does my RS Q8 have carbon ceramic brakes? They were optional. It matters absolutely, since conventional pads destroy ceramic discs and the discs cannot be resurfaced. Check the build specification or send us the VIN.

Do Q8 parts fit a Cayenne, Bentayga or Urus? Some do — they share MLB Evo. Many do not, particularly anything tuned per marque. Verify by part number or VIN rather than assuming platform sharing means interchangeability.

Are SQ8 and RS Q8 parts the same as standard Q8? In several areas, no. Brakes, suspension and cooling are uprated. Identify the variant when you enquire.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
