The S-Class is the Mercedes flagship and the model where the marque introduces its most complex systems first. That complexity is the defining fact for parts: air suspension on every car, extensive electronics, and hardware that changes mid-generation more often than on lesser models. Our catalogue covers the W221, W222 and current W223, including long-wheelbase, coupé, cabriolet, AMG and Maybach variants.
Every part is matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order — on this model it is not a formality.

S-Class servicing carries more consumables than any other saloon in the range — larger filters, larger brake hardware, more fluid. Ordering the complete kit is materially cheaper than assembling it line by line.
Filters and service consumables. ASSYST PLUS assumes MB-Approval 229.5 or 229.52 oil and factory-specification filters. Order the complete kit — the oil filter housing O-ring and sump plug crush washer are single-use. Cabin filters matter more on this car than most: cabin air quality is part of what the owner paid for, and a loaded filter in Gulf dust undermines it. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →
Brakes. Vehicle mass makes brakes a consumable. Standard, AMG Line and AMG cars take different disc diameters and pad compounds, and carbon ceramic was optioned on some AMG models — ceramic discs require ceramic-specific pads and cannot be resurfaced. The wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use. Mercedes brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →
Cooling. M276 and M278 engines place the thermostat housing and plastic pipework in the engine vee, where it seeps long before any temperature warning — a sweet smell and a falling expansion tank are the first evidence. The OM642 diesel has its known oil cooler seal failure. On V8 and V12 cars access dominates the labour, which is the argument for replacing hoses, clamps and O-rings while the area is already open. Parts for the S-Class divide by generation before anything else. Identifying the chassis code — W221, W222 and W223 — is the first step in ordering correctly, and facelift revisions within a generation matter as much as the generation change itself.
W221 (2005–2013) — Now a mature platform with substantial independent service demand. AIRMATIC struts and compressor, ABC hydraulic suspension on cars so equipped, and the M273 and M275 engines' cooling components dominate the workload. ABC and AIRMATIC are entirely different systems — identify which the car has before ordering anything suspension-related.
W222 (2013–2020) — The volume generation in current ownership, with AIRMATIC standard and MAGIC BODY CONTROL optional. M276, M278 and M177 petrol engines, OM642 and OM656 diesels, plus the S 560 e plug-in hybrid. The 2017 facelift revised lighting, front-end components and driver assistance hardware substantially.
W223 (2020–) — E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL, rear-axle steering and extensive driver assistance hardware, all model-year specific and frequently revised. VIN confirmation is the only reliable route.
Air suspension — the dominant cost. Every S-Class runs air springs, and the failure chain is consistent: a strut develops a leak, the compressor runs continuously to compensate, and the compressor burns out second. If the car settles overnight, rises slowly, or the compressor runs longer than it used to, act immediately — catching the strut early often saves the compressor. Replace struts in axle pairs. In Gulf ambient temperatures the compressor works considerably harder than the European design case assumed. Note that ABC hydraulic suspension on some W221 cars is a separate system with its own pump, accumulators and fluid. Air suspension compressors → · Shocks & springs → · Axle & steering →
Suspension bushings. Beyond the air springs, control arm bushings carry a two-tonne car and wear on a schedule set by mass rather than mileage. The progression is the familiar one — knock over expansion joints, vague on-centre steering, inner-edge tyre wear. A four-wheel alignment is required after any arm is disturbed. Control arms → · Wheel hubs & bearings →
Electrical and sensors. Battery condition deserves checking before anything else. The S-Class carries a heavy parasitic load, and a degraded battery produces a multi-module fault cascade — suspension errors, driver assistance faults, comfort system failures — that looks catastrophic on a scan and clears once voltage is restored. Beyond that, most module failures are sensor, earth or connector faults. Driver assistance cameras and radar are model-year specific and generally require calibration after replacement. Transmission. The 7G-Tronic (722.9) and 9G-Tronic (725.0) degrade ahead of their long-life billing in Gulf heat. The 722.9 conductor plate and 13-pin connector are a known failure point producing limp mode, frequently misread as mechanical failure. Transmission parts → · Transmission & engine mounts →
We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components. Trim numbers are tied to interior colour, wood and leather codes, and equipment level, and a high proportion of S-Class cars carry designo or Maybach specification — send your VIN with any trim or body enquiry. Browse body parts → or contact our team.
Order genuine and OEM S-Class parts online for delivery across the USA, Europe, the UK and the GCC. In-stock lines dispatch from our UAE and USA warehouses with full tracking, and trade accounts are available to independent Mercedes-Benz workshops. Send the VIN with your enquiry and we will confirm the part number against your car's build record before anything ships — the fastest way to avoid a return on the AIRMATIC-versus-ABC split, which changes almost every suspension part number. My S-Class settles overnight — what is failing? Almost always an air strut leaking down, not the compressor. The compressor failure that follows is a consequence of it running continuously. Replace the strut early, in axle pairs, and you may save the compressor.
Does my car have AIRMATIC or ABC? They are entirely different systems with no shared parts, and both appear on the W221. Send us the VIN before ordering anything suspension-related.
Multiple warning lights appeared at once. Check battery voltage and charging health first. On this car a degraded battery is the most common cause of a multi-module cascade, and the faults typically clear once voltage is restored.
Are pre-facelift and facelift W222 parts interchangeable? Often not. The 2017 facelift revised lighting, front-end components and driver assistance hardware. Check against production date rather than chassis code alone.
How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking.
