BMW 6 Series Parts | Genuine OEM — E63, F12, F13, G32

OEM BMW 6 Series Parts

The BMW 6 Series is the large grand tourer line — coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe, plus the later Gran Turismo. These are heavy, powerful cars with V8 and straight-six turbo engines, and their weight and performance mean brakes, bushings and cooling components work harder than on the equivalent saloon. Our range covers the E63 and E64, the F06, F12 and F13, and the G32 Gran Turismo, including the M6.

Every part is sourced through the official BMW OEM supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Generations of the BMW 6 Series

E63 / E64 (2003–2010) — Coupe and convertible sharing E60 5 Series underpinnings. N52 six and N62 V8, with the S85 V10 in the E63 M6. The N62 is known for valve stem seals and coolant transfer pipe issues; across the range, front thrust arm bushings and cooling plastics dominate demand. The S85 V10 has its own specific service requirements and should never be treated as a scaled-up V8.

F06 / F12 / F13 (2011–2018) — Gran Coupe, convertible and coupe on F10 5 Series architecture. N55 six and N63 V8, S63 in the M6. The N63 places turbochargers and cooling hardware in the vee, making any leak a labour-intensive job — proactive replacement while the area is open is materially cheaper than a second visit. Air suspension on some variants adds compressor and valve block components.

G32 6 Series Gran Turismo (2017–2023) — A different car in character: a tall five-door on the G30 platform with B48 and B58 engines, self-levelling rear air suspension as standard, and an integral rear axle. Suspension parts do not carry over from the F06 Gran Coupe despite the naming similarity.

About BMW 6 Series Parts

Brakes. These are heavy cars, and brake specification varies by package — M Sport, and on M6 cars the optional carbon ceramic setup. CCM discs require CCM-specific pads without exception: conventional compounds destroy the ceramic friction layer within a service interval and the discs cannot be resurfaced. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use. BMW brake pads & rotors →

Suspension and steering. Front control arm and thrust arm bushings wear faster here than on lighter models, and the progression is the familiar one: steering shimmy under braking, then a knock over expansion joints, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. BMW supplies these as a complete arm with the bushing pressed in. On air-sprung variants, a leaking spring left in service will burn out the compressor by making it run continuously — diagnose and replace the spring, compressor and valve block as a system. Convertibles carry additional structural bracing and greater kerb weight, so bushings and dampers wear faster still. Control arms → · Shocks & springs → · Wheel hubs & bearings →

Cooling. This is the system that most rewards proactive work on the 6 Series. N62 and N63 V8s carry cooling and turbocharger hardware in the engine vee, so a seeping hose or thermostat housing is expensive to reach — replace clamps, hoses and O-rings while you are in there rather than twice. The N62's coolant transfer pipe is a known and labour-intensive failure. N55 and B58 cars use an electric water pump with a defined replacement interval. In GCC ambient temperatures every part of this system ages faster than the European design case assumed. Coolant parts → · Radiators →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model — the N62, N63 and B58 all take different oil filter elements. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines: the sump plug seal and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Transmission and mounts. The ZF 8HP automatic across F06/F12/F13 and G32, the earlier 6HP on E63, the SMG on early M6 cars and the DCT on the F13 M6 all take different fluid specifications and none are interchangeable. The 8HP is described as lifetime-fill but degrades well ahead of that in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals. Check the transmission mount alongside; a failed mount produces a driveline clunk regularly misdiagnosed as a gearbox fault. Transmission parts → · Transmission mounts → · BMW engine mounts →

Electrical and sensors. Most faults presented as module failures are sensor or connector faults — crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded tail lamp connectors. Convertibles add roof position sensors, microswitches and hydraulic components, which are the usual cause of a roof that refuses to cycle. Cars that stand for long periods are prone to a multi-module fault cascade that clears once battery voltage is restored — always confirm battery health before condemning a module. Genuine BMW 6 Series Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM accessories and trim for the 6 Series — interior trim, exterior styling and model-specific fittings. Trim part numbers are tied tightly to interior colour code and equipment level, so send your VIN with any trim enquiry rather than ordering from a model-year match. FAQ

Does the 6 Series share parts with the 5 Series? A considerable number. The E63 shares E60 underpinnings, the F06/F12/F13 share F10 architecture, and the G32 Gran Turismo sits on the G30 platform. Body panels, brake specification and convertible components are not shared.

Is the 6 Series Gran Turismo the same as the Gran Coupe? No. The F06 Gran Coupe is a low four-door coupe; the G32 Gran Turismo is a tall five-door on the G30 platform with standard rear air suspension. Suspension parts do not cross over.

My M6 has carbon ceramic brakes — can I fit standard pads? No. CCM discs require CCM-specific pad compounds. Conventional pads destroy the ceramic friction layer within a service interval and the discs cannot be resurfaced.

What should I watch on an N62 or N63 V8? Coolant transfer pipe and valve stem seals on the N62; turbocharger and cooling hardware in the vee on the N63. Both are labour-intensive to reach, so replace surrounding hoses and seals while the area is open.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
