Genuine OEM Axle, Steering & Suspension Parts

Suspension and steering components wear gradually, which is why they are usually diagnosed late. The progression is consistent across almost every European platform: a knock over expansion joints, then vague or wandering steering on centre, then inner-edge tyre wear that gets blamed on alignment. By the time the tyres show it, the bushing has been worn for months.

We supply genuine OEM and factory-specification control arms, tie rods, bushings, ball joints, stabiliser links, hub assemblies and air suspension components across every marque we serve. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

What to Know Before Ordering

Replace the arm, not just the bushing. Most European manufacturers supply control arms complete with the bushing and ball joint pressed in, and that is the intended repair. Pressing a new bushing into a worn arm reintroduces the fault within months.

Alignment is not optional afterwards. A four-wheel alignment is required after disturbing any control arm, tie rod or link. Skipping it converts a correct repair into premature tyre wear.

Dampers go in axle pairs. Mixing a new damper with a worn one on the same axle gives adaptive systems inconsistent inputs and produces a ride complaint no alignment will fix.

Air suspension is one system, not four corners. On air-sprung cars — Range Rover, Cullinan, Continental GT, X7, Q7, S-Class and others — struts, compressor, valve block, lines and height sensors are linked. A leaking strut left in service makes the compressor run continuously until it burns out. The strut fails first; the compressor is the consequence. Catch it early and you often save the compressor.

Mass drives wear, not mileage. On heavy SUVs, bushings and bearings wear on a schedule set by vehicle weight. A low-mileage two-and-a-half-tonne car still needs inspection.

FAQ

My car knocks over bumps — what is it? Most often a control arm bushing or a stabiliser link. Both are inexpensive relative to the tyre wear and alignment problems they cause if left.

My car sits low overnight. On an air-sprung vehicle this is almost always a strut leaking down, not the compressor. Address the strut early and you may save the compressor from failing next.

Can I replace just the bushing? Usually not as the manufacturer intends. Most European control arms are supplied complete, and that is the durable repair.

Do I need an alignment after this work? Yes, on any arm, tie rod or link. Read our guide on control arm bolt alignment →

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
