Genuine OEM Bentley Mulsanne Parts
The Mulsanne was Bentley's hand-built flagship from 2010 to 2020, powered by the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged L-Series V8 — an engine with origins in the 1950s, continuously developed until the model's discontinuation.
The engine is the critical fact for parts. The 6.75 is not shared with the Volkswagen Group W12 or 4.0 V8 used in the Continental and Bentayga. It requires Mulsanne-specific service parts including its own oil specification and filter cross-reference — do not assume anything cross-references from elsewhere in the Bentley range.
Known Service Priorities
Air suspension. The continuous damping control air suspension is the dominant ownership cost. Struts, compressor, valve block and ride height sensors form one connected system: a strut develops a leak, the compressor runs continuously to compensate, and the compressor burns out second. Catch the strut early and you often save the compressor. Replace struts in axle pairs — in GCC heat the compressor works considerably harder than the European design case assumed.
Brakes. Halting a car of this weight makes brakes a genuine consumable, and pad compound is chosen for acoustic refinement as much as stopping power. Non-OEM pads generate the squeal and brake dust that is unacceptable in a car of this class. The wear sensor is single-use.
Cooling. Access dominates the labour in this engine bay, so replace hoses, clamps, O-rings and the expansion tank while the area is already open rather than returning for each item.
Parts availability is narrowing. With the Mulsanne out of production, dealer inventory for the 6.75 will thin over the coming service cycle. Send us the OEM part number or VIN and we will give you an honest assessment and a realistic estimate rather than taking an order we cannot fulfil.
