Audi A4 Parts | Genuine OEM — B7, B8, B9, S4, RS 4

OEM Audi A4 Parts

The A4 is Audi's highest-volume model and the car that generates the most service parts demand across the range. Our catalogue covers the B7 (2004–2008), B8 (2008–2016), B9 (2016–2023) and current B10, across saloon and Avant estate bodies, plus the S4, RS 4 and allroad variants.

Every part is matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. The A4 carries a wide engine spread within each generation — a 2.0 TFSI EA888 and a 3.0 TFSI in the same B9 body take different filters, cooling components and service kits. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.

Generations of the A4

B7 (2004–2008) — Now a mature platform with a substantial independent following. Multi-link front suspension bushings, cooling plastics and, on 2.0 TFSI engines, timing chain tensioner concerns are the recurring items.

B8 (2008–2016) — The volume generation in the used market. EA888 2.0 TFSI, 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 and TDI diesels. The 2012 facelift revised lighting and front-end components. Front control arm wear, the EA888 integrated water pump and thermostat module, and multitronic CVT issues on front-drive cars dominate the workload.

B9 (2016–2023) — MLB Evo platform, with revised electronics and, on later cars, mild-hybrid assistance. The 2019 facelift changed lighting and bumper components substantially.

B10 (2024–) — The current car. Service parts remain closely tied to model year; VIN confirmation is the reliable route.

About A4 Parts

Suspension and steering. The multi-link front suspension carries four control arms per side, and the upper forward arms typically wear first. The symptom order is consistent: a knock over expansion joints, then steering wandering slightly on centre, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as an alignment fault. Because the arms share load, replacing one worn arm in a set of four usually returns the car within months — the OEM approach is to replace the affected side as a set. A four-wheel alignment is required afterwards. Upper control arms → · Lower control arms → · Shock absorbers →

Cooling. On the EA888 2.0 TFSI the water pump and thermostat are a single integrated plastic module and a known failure point — it seeps from the housing seam long before any temperature warning, and the first evidence is usually a sweet smell and a slowly dropping expansion tank. The 3.0 TFSI V6 places its thermostat housing in the vee, labour-intensive to reach, which makes proactive replacement worthwhile when the engine is already open. Stay with G13 coolant specification — mixing types causes premature pump seal failure. Coolant parts → · Water pumps → · Radiators →

Brakes. Specification follows the PR code on the vehicle data sticker, not the model. Two B9 A4s can leave the factory with different front disc diameters depending on whether S line brakes were optioned, and S4 and RS 4 differ again. The wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use. Audi brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →

Filters and service consumables. Audi's flexible service regime assumes VW 504 00 or 508 00 specification oil and factory filters. Filters follow the engine family, not the model year. Order the complete service kit — the oil filter housing O-ring and sump plug sealing washer are single-use and the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission. The A4 spans three families. Quattro cars mostly use the DL501 seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch, some use the ZF 8HP torque-converter automatic, and older front-drive cars used the multitronic CVT. Each takes a different fluid and none are interchangeable. S tronic will not tolerate a skipped fluid service — jerky low-speed take-up, shudder pulling away from rest and hesitation between first and second are the early warnings. The multitronic on front-drive B7 and B8 cars has its own known limitations and its own fluid specification. Confirm which gearbox before ordering. Electrical and sensors. Most faults presented as module failures are sensor, earth or connector faults. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine permanently compensated without setting a fault code. The electromechanical parking brake is worth calling out — an EPB malfunction is most often a failed actuator motor or corroded connector rather than a control module, and the calipers must be retracted electronically before any rear pad service. Genuine A4 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components for the A4 and A4 Avant. Lighting and bumper parts differ across facelifts within the same generation, and trim numbers are tied to interior colour code and equipment level — send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. FAQ

My car knocks over bumps. Usually a front upper control arm. On a four-arm corner, replacing the affected side as a set is the durable repair — a single new arm alongside three worn ones fails early.

My coolant drops with no visible leak. On the EA888, typically the integrated water pump and thermostat module seeping at the housing seam. It evaporates off a hot engine before it drips — a pressure test finds it.

Which gearbox does my A4 have? S tronic, ZF 8HP or multitronic depending on drivetrain and year, each with a different fluid. Send us the VIN before ordering anything transmission-related.

How do I know which brakes my car has? The PR code on the vehicle data sticker determines it. Send us the VIN and we will confirm the correct discs and pad compound.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
