Audi Q7 Parts | Genuine OEM — 4L, 4M, SQ7

OEM Audi Q7 Parts

The Q7 is Audi's full-size three-row SUV and one of the marque's most active platforms for service parts in the GCC. Our catalogue covers the 4L (2005–2015) and 4M (2015 onward), including the SQ7 and the Q7 e-tron plug-in hybrid.

Every part is matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. The two generations are genuinely different vehicles — the 4L shares its platform with the Touareg and Cayenne of its era, while the 4M moved to MLB Evo with a substantial weight reduction. Very little carries across. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.

Generations of the Q7

4L (2005–2015) — Built on the PL71 platform shared with the VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne of the period, which means some components cross-reference across those three vehicles and many do not. 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6, 4.2 FSI V8, 3.0 TDI and the V12 TDI. Air suspension was standard on most variants. Recurring work centres on air struts and the compressor, timing chain concerns on some engines, and cooling components.

4M (2015–) — MLB Evo platform, considerably lighter, with 3.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI engines, the SQ7 with its electric-powered compressor, and all-wheel steering on some variants. Air suspension remains widely fitted. Driver assistance hardware is model-year specific and revised frequently.

About Q7 Parts

Air suspension — the dominant cost. Struts, compressor, valve block, air lines and ride height sensors form one connected system rather than four independent corners. The failure chain is consistent: a strut develops a leak, the compressor runs continuously to compensate, and the compressor burns out second. If the vehicle settles overnight, rises slowly, or the compressor runs longer than it used to, act immediately — catching the strut early often saves the compressor. Replace struts in axle pairs. In GCC heat and on a vehicle of this mass the compressor works considerably harder than the European design case assumed. Air suspension compressors → · Shock absorbers → · Axle & steering →

Suspension bushings. Control arm bushings carry well over two tonnes and wear on a schedule set by mass rather than mileage — a knock over expansion joints, then vague on-centre steering, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. On multi-link corners, replace the affected side as a set rather than a single arm. A four-wheel alignment is required afterwards. Cooling. The 3.0 TFSI V6 places its thermostat housing in the engine vee where access dominates the labour — the argument for replacing it and surrounding hoses proactively when the engine is already open. Supercharged cars run an intercooler circuit with its own electric pump, separate from the main loop and frequently overlooked. A heavy three-row SUV in Gulf traffic works its cooling pack hard, and radiator stacks block with dust between the fins, producing overheating that clears on the move — inspect the stack before condemning a thermostat or pump. Stay with G13 coolant specification. Coolant parts → · Radiators → · Water pumps →

Brakes. Vehicle mass makes brakes a genuine consumable. Specification follows the PR code on the vehicle data sticker rather than the model, and the SQ7 differs substantially. The e-tron carries additional weight, and on hybrids regenerative braking means the friction brakes work less and corrode more — discs frequently fail on corrosion rather than wear. The wear sensor is single-use. Audi brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model year. Diesel cars add fuel filter, DPF and AdBlue considerations, and short-journey urban use in the Gulf is the duty cycle most likely to cause DPF regeneration problems. Order the complete service kit — the oil filter housing O-ring and sump plug sealing washer are single-use. A three-row vehicle often carries two cabin filters, and Gulf dust loads them quickly. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission and driveline. The Q7 uses the ZF 8HP torque-converter automatic with quattro. Described as lifetime-fill, it degrades well ahead of that assumption in a heavy vehicle in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals, and a fluid and pan-filter service then costs a fraction of a mechatronic unit. The transfer case and differentials carry their own fluids and their own service requirements, routinely overlooked — particularly on vehicles that tow. Electrical, sensors and PHEV. Check battery and charging health before condemning any module — low voltage on a vehicle with this parasitic load produces a multi-module cascade including air suspension errors, and it clears once voltage is restored. For the Q7 e-tron, battery-circuit coolant pumps, charging port assemblies and high-voltage components are model-year specific — send the VIN rather than ordering from a model-year match. The electromechanical parking brake fault is usually an actuator or connector rather than a module. Electrical parts → · Oxygen sensors →

Genuine Q7 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components for the Q7. Lighting and bumper parts differ between 4L and 4M and across facelifts, and trim numbers are tied to interior colour code, seat configuration and equipment level — send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. FAQ

My Q7 sits low overnight. An air strut leaking down, in almost every case. The compressor failure that often follows is a consequence of it running continuously. Replace the strut early, in axle pairs.

Are 4L and 4M parts interchangeable? Largely not. The 4M is a different platform with substantially different running gear and a considerable weight reduction. Check chassis code before ordering.

Do Q7 parts fit a Touareg or Cayenne? Some 4L-era components do, since the three shared a platform. Many do not, and the boundaries are not intuitive — verify by part number or VIN.

It overheats in traffic but is fine on the move. That points to airflow — a dust-blocked radiator stack or failed fan — rather than coolant flow. Check those before replacing a pump or thermostat.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
