BMW X6 Parts | Genuine OEM — E71, F16, G06, X6 M

OEM BMW X6 Parts

The BMW X6 is the coupe-roofline counterpart to the X5, sharing its platform, powertrains and driveline hardware while differing in body, glass, tailgate and rear suspension tune. Our catalogue covers the E71, F16 and G06, including the X6 M and M50i variants.

Every part is sourced through the official BMW OEM supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Generations of the BMW X6

E71 (2008–2014) — The original, built alongside the E70 X5. N55 six, N63 V8 and S63 in the X6 M. Air suspension at the rear, transfer case actuator faults and front control arm bushings are the recurring items. The N63 places turbochargers and cooling hardware in the engine vee, making leaks labour-intensive to reach.

F16 (2014–2019) — Built alongside the F15 X5 with N55, N57 diesel and N63 V8 engines, S63 in the X6 M. Electric water pumps, air suspension components and transfer case service dominate parts demand.

G06 (2019–) — CLAR platform alongside the G05 X5, with B58 six, N63 V8 and S63 in the X6 M. Two-axle air suspension is widely fitted. The plastic coolant distributor housing on B58 engines is the known failure point.

About BMW X6 Parts

Air suspension. Air springs, compressor, valve block and ride height sensors form a linked system rather than independent corners. A leaking air spring left in service will destroy the compressor by making it run continuously — by far the most common way a manageable repair becomes an expensive one. Diagnose and replace the spring and compressor together, and inspect the valve block and lines at the same time. In GCC heat, air spring rubber ages faster than the European design case assumed. Brakes. The X6 carries X5 weight with a firmer tune and larger standard wheels, and works its brakes hard. M Sport and standard packages take different disc diameters and pad compounds, and the M50i and X6 M differ again. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use — replace it with the pads. On cars with the electromechanical parking brake, rear calipers must be retracted electronically before pad service. BMW brake pads & rotors →

Suspension and steering. Beyond the air springs, front control arm and thrust arm bushings are the recurring wear item, accelerated by weight and the firmer suspension tune. The progression is consistent: steering shimmy under braking, then a knock over expansion joints, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as an alignment fault. BMW supplies these as a complete arm with the bushing pressed in. Rear suspension tuning differs from the X5, so check the chassis code rather than assuming an X5 part fits. Cooling. N63 V8s carry cooling and turbocharger hardware in the vee, so a seeping hose or thermostat housing is expensive to reach — replace clamps, hoses and O-rings while the area is already open rather than returning for a second visit. N55 engines use an electric water pump with a defined replacement interval. On B58 engines the plastic coolant distributor housing seeps long before any temperature warning appears, and the first evidence is a sweet smell and a slowly falling expansion tank. An SUV's cooling load in Gulf ambient temperatures makes all of this more acute than the European design case assumed. Coolant parts → · Radiators →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model — the N55, N63 and B58 all take different oil filter elements. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines: the sump plug seal and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission and xDrive driveline. The ZF 8HP automatic across F16 and G06, and the 6HP on E71, take different fluid specifications. The 8HP is described as lifetime-fill but degrades well ahead of that in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals. The transfer case is a service item on every X6: its fluid is separate from the gearbox and frequently overlooked, and the transfer case actuator motor is a recurring failure on E71 and F16 cars, producing drivetrain warnings and a shudder on tight low-speed turns. Electrical and sensors. Most faults presented as module failures are sensor or connector faults — ride height sensors, crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded connectors at the tail lamp clusters and tailgate harness. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine permanently compensated without ever setting a fault code. Genuine BMW X6 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM accessories and trim for the X6 — interior trim, exterior styling and model-specific fittings. Body, glass and tailgate parts differ from the X5 despite the shared platform, so ordering from an X5 listing is unreliable for anything visible. Send your VIN with any trim enquiry. FAQ

Are X6 parts the same as X5 parts? Engine, cooling, driveline and many service components are shared, since each X6 generation is built alongside its X5 equivalent. Body panels, rear glass, tailgate and rear suspension tuning are X6-specific. Check the chassis code before ordering anything visible or suspension-related.

My X6 is sitting low at the rear — what do I need? Usually a leaking air spring. Replace the compressor at the same time: a compressor that has been running against a leak has been overworked and typically fails soon after.

My car shows a drivetrain warning and shudders on tight turns — what is it? Most often the transfer case actuator motor, a recurring fault on E71 and F16 cars. Have the transfer case fluid condition checked at the same time.

What should I watch on an N63 V8? Turbocharger and cooling hardware sit in the engine vee and are labour-intensive to reach. Replace surrounding hoses and seals while the area is open.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
