Genuine OEM Wheels & Brakes for European Cars

Wheels and brakes are where a car's engineering meets the road, and on European performance and luxury vehicles both are more specification-sensitive than owners expect. Brake pad compound, disc diameter and wear sensor part numbers follow the brake code on the vehicle data record rather than the model name, and wheel fitment depends on offset, centre bore and load rating as much as diameter.

We supply genuine OEM and factory-specification brake components and wheels across every marque we serve, including carbon ceramic systems. Send us your VIN or brake code and we will confirm before you order.

About Brake Components

Compound must match the specification. M Sport, AMG Line, S line and equivalent packages take different pad compounds and often different disc diameters from the standard car. Fitting a standard-compound pad to a performance-braked vehicle is the most common cause of the low-speed groan and early fade owners blame on the discs.

Carbon ceramic is a different system entirely. CCM discs are standard across the McLaren range and common on AMG, RS, M and Ferrari models, with wider optional availability elsewhere. Conventional pad compounds destroy the ceramic friction layer within a single service interval, and ceramic discs cannot be resurfaced — replacement is the only remedy, at many times the cost of the pads responsible. Confirm the specification before ordering.

Discs and pads work as a pair. New pads on a lipped, heat-cracked or unevenly worn disc compromise both and bring the car back sooner. Where the disc shows thickness variation, replace together.

Wear sensors are single-use. A separate part number front and rear, designed to be destroyed in service. Replace with the pads — a reused sensor gives a false reading or none at all.

Heat is the limiting factor in the Gulf. Braking converts kinetic energy into heat, and ambient temperatures here mean discs and pads run hotter and closer to their fade threshold than the European design case assumed. This is a genuine argument for staying with factory-specification compounds rather than economising.

About Wheels and Hubs

Genuine alloy wheels are engineered for weight, brake cooling airflow and load rating as well as appearance, and they must hold rotational balance under substantial lateral loading. Kerb damage, bent rims and corrosion around the bead are the common failure modes, and a bent rim produces a vibration frequently misdiagnosed as a suspension or driveline fault.

Wheel bearings and hub assemblies deserve attention at the same time. A droning noise that changes pitch when the car is loaded through a corner is the classic bearing signature, and on heavier SUVs bearings wear on a schedule set by mass rather than mileage. Wheel hubs & bearings →

FAQ

How do I know which brake specification my car has? The brake code on your vehicle data record determines it, not the model name. Send us your VIN and we will confirm the correct pads and discs before dispatch.

Can I fit conventional pads to carbon ceramic discs? No. Conventional compounds destroy the ceramic friction layer, and CCM discs cannot be resurfaced. It is the most expensive avoidable error in brake servicing.

My brakes squeal — what causes it? Usually compound mismatch, missing or incorrectly fitted shims, or glazing rather than a faulty pad. See our guide on why brakes squeal →

I have a vibration at speed — brakes or wheels? Vibration under braking usually points to disc thickness variation; vibration at constant speed regardless of braking more often points to a bent rim or wheel balance. A bent wheel is regularly misdiagnosed as a suspension fault.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking. Free shipping across the UAE and USA. For assistance, contact us on +1 818-851-0770, WhatsApp +971 568 908 800, or info@europarts360.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most European vehicles feature electronic wear sensors that will trigger a dashboard light when pads reach approximately 3mm of thickness. However, if you feel a pulsation in the pedal (indicating warped rotors) or hear a high-pitched screeching, it is time for an inspection. In high-performance applications, rotors should generally be replaced with every second set of pads.

  • Carbon Ceramic rotors are significantly lighter, reducing "unsprung weight" for better handling. They are also virtually immune to "brake fade" under extreme heat and produce almost zero brake dust. However, they are significantly more expensive and require specialized pads.

  • Factory European brake pads often use a "softer" semi-metallic compound designed to provide superior initial "bite" and cold-weather performance. The trade-off is increased dust. For owners looking for a cleaner look, we offer premium OEM Ceramic pads that significantly reduce dust while maintaining factory safety standards.

  • A simple wheel imbalance usually causes a vibration felt only at specific highway speeds (e.g., 60–70 mph). A bent wheel will often cause a vibration that is felt at all speeds and may be accompanied by a slow loss of tire pressure if the "bead" of the wheel is compromised.

  • Most elite European brands do not manufacture their own brakes; they partner with specialists. When you buy from Europarts360, you are getting the same parts from Brembo (the gold standard for Italian and German performance), ATE, TRW, and Textar.

  • Yes. These sensors are "sacrificial." Once the brake pad wears down enough to touch the sensor, the sensor is physically ground down to complete an electrical circuit. Once the "Brake Wear" light is on, the sensor is destroyed and must be replaced along with the pads.

  • Drilled rotors excel at heat dissipation and weight reduction. Slotted rotors are designed to "wipe" the surface of the brake pad, preventing the buildup of gas and dust between the pad and the rotor. Both are superior to "Blank" rotors for spirited driving.

  • While "curb rash" (cosmetic scratches) can be easily repaired, we strongly advise against welding or straightening wheels with structural cracks. A repaired crack is a weak point that can fail catastrophically under high-speed stress. We recommend replacing damaged wheels with Genuine factory units for absolute safety.

  • Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air over time. This moisture lowers the boiling point of the fluid and can cause internal corrosion in the ABS actuator and calipers. European manufacturers recommend a full flush every 2 years.

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
