Does this compressor come pre-filled with oil?
Most OEM replacement compressors are shipped with a baseline amount of shipping oil to protect the internals during transit, but you must not assume it is the correct final amount. Your certified A/C technician must completely drain the shipping fluid, measure it, and refill the compressor with the exact amount and viscosity of PAG 46 oil required by the BMW service manual for the CSE613 unit.
Should I replace anything else while doing this job?
Yes. Whenever an A/C compressor is replaced, it is an industry-standard requirement (and strictly necessary for warranty validity) to also replace the Receiver Drier / Accumulator. The drier contains a desiccant bag that absorbs moisture; once the system is opened to the atmosphere during the repair, the old drier is instantly ruined. You should also replace the rubber O-rings on the suction and discharge lines.
Does this fit the 6-cylinder models (like the 325i, 328i, or 335i)?
No. This specific Calsonic CSE613 compressor (64529182793) is strictly engineered for the 4-cylinder petrol engines. The 6-cylinder variants (such as the N52, N53, or N54) utilize distinctly different Denso compressor configurations, differing displacement capacities, and different mounting ear geometries.
