Are the left and right front air struts different?
Yes. Because the lower portion of the shock absorber features a specialized mounting fork designed to clear the front drive axles and attach to the sway bar end links, these struts are strictly side-specific. A2533207401 is engineered exclusively for the Front Right, while A2533207301 is engineered exclusively for the Front Left. They cannot be swapped.
Do I need to buy the shock absorber and the air spring separately?
No. This specific product profile covers the complete, fully assembled struts. The internal hydraulic shock absorber and the pneumatic air bladder are integrated together. You do not need a spring compressor or specialized tools to assemble the strut prior to installation.
Will this fit a standard GLC 300?
No. These specific struts are designed strictly for the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 and 63 models equipped with the sport-tuned AMG RIDE CONTROL+ package. Standard GLC 300 models utilize different internal hydraulic damping rates and cannot properly utilize these highly aggressive AMG-specific struts.
