Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my valve block is leaking or if it's the strut?
A great diagnostic trick is to spray a mixture of soap and water on the top of the valve block where the colored air lines connect. If you see bubbles forming, the block or the brass fittings are leaking. If there are no bubbles at the block, the leak is likely at the air strut itself.
Does this part require programming?
No. The valve block itself is a plug-and-play mechanical/electrical component and does not require SCN coding. However, after installation, you must use a diagnostic tool to refill the system and perform a ride-height calibration to ensure the car sits level.
Do I need to replace the compressor at the same time?
Not necessarily, but it is highly recommended that you test it. If your valve block has been leaking for a while, your compressor has been working overtime to keep the car lifted and may be on the verge of failure.
Does it matter which air line goes into which port?
Absolutely. The ports on the valve block are color-coded (or stamped with abbreviations) to match the corresponding air lines (e.g., Left Front, Right Rear). If you mix them up, the car will try to raise the front but will actually raise the rear, causing a complete suspension system malfunction.
