Frequently Asked Questions

Is this for the Left (Driver) or Right (Passenger) side?
Both! This specific Porsche upper wishbone is non-directional. The exact same part number (971407021B) is used for both the Left and Right sides of the front suspension. (Note: If you intend to replace both sides, simply update your cart quantity to two (2) before checkout).
What is the difference between the B, C, D, and E part number revisions?
Nothing except the production date! Porsche frequently updates part numbers across production runs to reflect minor manufacturing and durability improvements. The original 971407021B number is fully interchangeable with the newer 971407021C, 971407021D, and 971407021E factory revisions.
Will this fit both the standard Panamera hatchback and the Sport Turismo?
Yes. The Panamera Sport Turismo (wagon) shares its entire front-end chassis and suspension architecture with the standard Panamera hatchback. This control arm is a direct fit for both body styles.
Should I replace both the left and right sides at the same time?
It is highly recommended to replace upper control arms in pairs. Because both the left and right sides endure the exact same vehicle weight, braking loads, and road impacts, if one side has started clunking, the other is undoubtedly at the end of its lifespan. Replacing both ensures perfectly balanced handling and saves you from paying for a second wheel alignment down the road.
