Audi A6 Parts | Genuine OEM — C6, C7, C8, S6, RS 6

OEM Audi A6 Parts

The A6 is Audi's executive saloon and one of the highest-volume premium cars in Europe and the GCC. Our catalogue covers the C6 (2004–2011), C7 (2011–2018) and C8 (2018 onward), across saloon and Avant estate bodies, plus the S6 and RS 6 performance variants and the allroad.

Every part is matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. The A6 has carried an unusually wide engine spread within each generation — an EA888 four-cylinder and an EA839 V6 in the same C8 body take different filters, cooling components and service kits, and the diesels differ again. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.

Generations of the A6

C6 (2004–2011) — Now a mature platform with a substantial independent service base. Multi-link front suspension with four control arms per side, and the upper forward arms are the first to wear. Cooling plastics, timing chain concerns on some 3.2 FSI engines, and the multitronic CVT on front-drive cars are the recurring items.

C7 (2011–2018) — High volume and heavily represented in the used market. 2.0 TFSI (EA888), 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 and TDI diesels, with the S6 and RS 6 above them. The 2014 facelift revised lighting and front-end components. Front control arm wear, the 3.0 TFSI thermostat housing in the vee, and supercharger intercooler pump failures dominate the workload.

C8 (2018–) — MLB Evo platform with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance across most of the range, air suspension optional, and driver assistance hardware that is model-year specific and frequently revised.

About A6 Parts

Suspension and steering. The multi-link front suspension carries four control arms per side, and the upper forward arms typically wear first. The symptom order is consistent: a knock over expansion joints, then steering that wanders slightly on centre, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as an alignment fault. Because the arms share load, replacing one worn arm in a set of four usually returns the car within months — the OEM approach is to replace the affected side as a set. On air-sprung C7 and C8 cars, struts and compressor are a linked system: a leaking strut left in service burns out the compressor. Cooling. On the EA888 2.0 TFSI the water pump and thermostat are a single integrated plastic module and a known failure point, seeping from the housing seam long before any temperature warning — a sweet smell and a slowly dropping expansion tank are the first evidence. The 3.0 TFSI V6 places its thermostat housing in the vee where it is labour-intensive to reach, which is why replacing it proactively when the engine is already open makes financial sense. Supercharged cars also run an intercooler circuit with its own electric pump, separate from the main loop and frequently overlooked. Stay with G13 specification — mixing coolant types causes premature pump seal failure. Coolant parts → · Radiators → · Water pumps →

Brakes. Specification follows the PR code on the vehicle data sticker, not the model. Two C7 A6s can leave the factory with different front disc diameters depending on whether S line brakes were optioned, and S6 and RS 6 differ again — the RS 6 was offered with carbon ceramic, which requires ceramic-specific pads and cannot be resurfaced. The wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use. Audi brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →

Filters and service consumables. Audi's flexible service regime assumes VW 504 00 or 508 00 specification oil and factory filters. Filters follow the engine family, not the model — EA888 and EA839 in the same body take different elements, and the TDI range differs again. Order the complete service kit: the oil filter housing O-ring and sump plug sealing washer are single-use and the items most often missing mid-job. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission. The A6 spans three transmission families and confusing them is expensive. Quattro cars mostly use the DL501 seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch, some use the ZF 8HP torque-converter automatic, and older front-drive cars used the multitronic CVT. Each takes a different fluid specification and none are interchangeable. S tronic in particular will not tolerate a skipped fluid service — jerky low-speed take-up, shudder pulling away from rest and hesitation between first and second are the early warnings, and a fluid and filter service then costs a fraction of mechatronic work. Confirm which gearbox your car carries before ordering. Transmission parts → · Transmission mounts → · Audi engine mounts →

Electrical and sensors. Most faults presented as module failures are sensor, earth or connector faults — position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded connectors at the tail lamp clusters and boot harness. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine permanently compensated without setting a fault code. The electromechanical parking brake is worth calling out: an EPB malfunction is most often a failed actuator motor or corroded connector rather than a control module, and the calipers must be retracted electronically before any rear pad service. Genuine A6 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components for the A6 and A6 Avant. Lighting and bumper parts differ across facelifts within the same generation, and trim numbers are tied to interior colour code and equipment level — send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. FAQ

Which gearbox does my A6 have? It depends on drivetrain and year — S tronic DL501, ZF 8HP or multitronic CVT all appear across the range, and each takes a different fluid. Send us the VIN before ordering anything transmission-related.

My car knocks over bumps. Usually a front upper control arm. On a four-arm corner, replacing the affected side as a set is the durable repair — a single new arm alongside three worn ones fails early.

My coolant drops with no visible leak. On the EA888, typically the integrated water pump and thermostat module seeping at the housing seam. It evaporates off a hot engine before it drips.

How do I know which brakes my car has? The PR code on the vehicle data sticker determines it. Send us the VIN and we will confirm the correct discs and pad compound.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
