BMW 4 Series Parts | Genuine OEM — F32, G22, M4
OEM BMW 4 Series Parts
The BMW 4 Series is the coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe line split off from the 3 Series in 2013. It shares a great deal with its saloon sibling mechanically, but body, brake and suspension specification diverge more than owners expect — particularly on M Sport and M4 cars. Our range covers the F32, F33 and F36, the current G22, G23 and G26, and the M4 across F82 and G82 generations.
Every part is sourced through the official BMW OEM supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Generations of the BMW 4 Series
F32 / F33 / F36 (2013–2020) — Coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe, sharing the F30 3 Series platform. N20, N26, B46 and B48 four-cylinders; N55 and B58 sixes in the 435i and 440i. Recurring items are the electric water pump, charge pipe and boost hoses, front control arm bushings, and on early N20 cars the timing chain. The F33 convertible adds a folding hardtop mechanism with its own hydraulic and sensor components.
F82 / F83 M4 (2014–2020) — S55 twin-turbo six with its own cooling package, charge cooling circuit, brake specification and suspension geometry. Carbon ceramic brakes were a factory option, and those cars require CCM-specific pads — conventional compounds destroy the ceramic friction layer within a service interval and the discs cannot be resurfaced. Do not order M4 parts from a 440i listing.
G22 / G23 / G26 (2020–) — The current coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe on the CLAR platform, sharing much with the G20 3 Series. B48 and B58 engines with 48-volt mild hybrid on later cars. The G23 convertible moved to a fabric roof, changing the mechanism parts entirely from the F33. The plastic coolant distributor housing on B48 and B58 engines is the known failure point.
G82 / G83 M4 (2021–) — S58 engine, with Competition and xDrive variants. Cooling, brake and driveline specification differ from the M440i throughout.
i4 (2021–) — The electric G26-based model. High-voltage components, battery-circuit coolant pumps and charging hardware are model-year specific and revised frequently. Send us the VIN for anything on the high-voltage side rather than ordering from a model-year match.
About BMW 4 Series Parts
Brakes. M Sport and standard packages take different disc diameters and pad compounds, and the M4 differs again from the 440i or M440i. Cars specified with carbon ceramic brakes need CCM-specific pads without exception. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use — replace it with the pads. Suspension and steering. Front control arm and thrust arm bushings are the defining wear item, with the familiar progression: steering shimmy under braking, then a knock over expansion joints, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. BMW supplies these as a complete arm with the bushing pressed in, which is the correct repair. Convertibles carry additional structural bracing and heavier kerb weight, so bushings and dampers wear faster than on the equivalent coupe. Control arms → · Shocks & springs →
Cooling. N20 and N55 engines use an electric water pump with a defined replacement interval, and proactive replacement is far cheaper than the overheating damage a failure causes. On B48 and B58 engines the plastic coolant distributor housing seeps long before any temperature warning appears. S55 and S58 M4 cars run additional charge cooling circuits that are often overlooked at service. In GCC ambient temperatures, hoses and expansion tanks harden well ahead of the European design case. Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model — an N20 and a B48 in the same F32 body take different oil filter elements. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines: the sump plug seal and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Transmission. The ZF 8HP automatic across F3x and G2x, the DCT in F82 M4 cars, and the manual option all take different fluid specifications. The 8HP is described as lifetime-fill but degrades well ahead of that in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals. Electrical and sensors. Most faults presented as module failures are sensor or connector faults — crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded tail lamp connectors. Convertibles add roof position sensors and microswitches, which are a common source of a roof that refuses to cycle. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine permanently compensated without setting a fault code. Genuine BMW 4 Series Accessories
We supply genuine and OEM accessories and trim for the 4 Series — interior trim, exterior styling and model-specific fittings. Trim part numbers are tied tightly to interior colour code and equipment level, so send your VIN with any trim enquiry rather than ordering from a model-year match. FAQ
Are 4 Series parts the same as 3 Series parts? Many mechanical and engine service components are shared, since the F32 sits on the F30 platform and the G22 on the G20. Body panels, brake specification on M Sport cars, and convertible-specific components are not shared. Check the chassis code.
Do M4 parts differ from 440i or M440i parts? Yes, substantially. The S55 and S58 engines have their own cooling packages, and brake and suspension specification differs throughout. These are listed separately wherever the part number differs.
My car has carbon ceramic brakes — can I fit standard pads? No. CCM discs require CCM-specific pad compounds. Conventional pads destroy the ceramic friction layer within a service interval, and the discs cannot be resurfaced. Confirm your brake specification before ordering.
Do you stock convertible roof mechanism parts? We supply roof mechanism components, sensors and hydraulic parts for the F33 folding hardtop and the G23 fabric roof. These differ completely between the two — send your VIN.
How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
- Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
- OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
- Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
