Italian Car Parts – Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati

Genuine OEM Italian Car Parts

Italian performance cars concentrate their service demands in a few specific places, and knowing which ones saves both money and misdiagnosis. Dual-clutch and automated-manual transmissions need fluid discipline. Mid-engine cooling is labour-intensive to reach. Carbon ceramic brakes are unforgiving of the wrong pad. And a great many of these cars stand for months at a time, which changes what wears.

We supply genuine OEM parts for Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

What Italian Platforms Have in Common

Carbon ceramic brakes need ceramic-specific pads. Standard on most modern Ferraris and widely optioned on Lamborghini and Maserati. Conventional compounds destroy the ceramic friction layer within a single service interval, and the discs cannot be resurfaced — replacement is the only remedy, at many times the cost of the pads responsible. Confirm the specification before ordering.

Clutch wear should be read, not guessed. On dual-clutch and e-gear cars the clutch wear value can be read via diagnostics, which is far more reliable than judging by feel. Low-speed manoeuvring is what consumes clutch life. On e-gear systems, hydraulic pump and accumulator faults are frequently misdiagnosed as clutch wear — an expensive error in the wrong direction.

Mid-engine cooling is an access problem. Reaching the cooling system on a mid-engine car is most of the labour, which is the argument for replacing hoses, clamps, O-rings and the expansion tank while the area is already open. Low-mounted radiators take stone and debris damage as a matter of routine.

The Maserati heat exchanger is worth knowing about. On the 3.0 V6 used across Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante, the oil-to-coolant heat exchanger is a known failure point that produces milky residue in the expansion tank — routinely misread as a head gasket failure, and considerably less severe. Standing is harder than driving. A car covering 2,000 km a year still needs its annual oil and filter service. Bushings, dampers, hoses and brake discs age on a calendar basis, and a degraded battery in a stored car produces a multi-module fault cascade that clears once voltage is restored.

FAQ

Does my car have carbon ceramic brakes? Not always — they are standard on most modern Ferraris but optional elsewhere. It matters absolutely, since conventional pads destroy ceramic discs. Check the build specification or send us the VIN.

How do I know if my clutch needs replacing? Read the clutch wear value via diagnostics rather than judging by feel. Note that hydraulic pump or accumulator faults on e-gear systems are often misdiagnosed as clutch wear.

Milky residue in the coolant — head gasket? On the Maserati 3.0 V6, more often the oil heat exchanger, which is far less severe. Have it diagnosed before assuming the worst.

The car is stored most of the year — what should I prioritise? Annual oil and filter service regardless of distance, a battery conditioner, and calendar-based inspection of hoses, bushings and discs.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
