The Ghibli (M157) is Maserati's executive saloon and, alongside the Levante, one of the two highest-volume cars the marque has built. Our catalogue covers the full production run from 2013, including the S and S Q4 petrol variants, the 3.0-litre diesel sold in European and GCC markets, Trofeo, and the Hybrid introduced in 2020.
Every part is sourced through the official supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. The Ghibli sits on Fiat Chrysler architecture with a Ferrari-built 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 and the ZF 8HP eight-speed, which means some components cross-reference to FCA part numbers, some are Ferrari-sourced engine items, and many are Maserati-specific — and the boundaries are not intuitive. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.

M157 pre-facelift (2013–2017) — The launch car, with the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 in standard and S tune, the S Q4 adding all-wheel drive, and the 3.0-litre diesel. These are now the volume cars in the used market and carry the highest service parts demand. Recurring work centres on cooling system components, the oil heat exchanger, suspension bushings, and electrical faults traced back to battery condition.
M157 facelift (2017–2020) — Revised front and rear styling, a substantially improved interior and electronics package, and the GranLusso and GranSport trim split. Lighting units, bumper components and interior electronics are where part numbers diverge most from the earlier car.
Late cars and Trofeo (2020–) — The Hybrid arrived with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder and 48-volt assistance, and the Trofeo added the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8. Both are distinct from the V6 cars across powertrain, cooling and brake specification.
Cooling and the oil heat exchanger. The single most important item to understand on this car. The oil-to-coolant heat exchanger is a known failure point on the 3.0 V6, and when it fails it allows oil and coolant to mix — the classic symptom being milky residue in the expansion tank or on the oil filler cap. Owners frequently misread this as a head gasket failure and brace for a far worse repair than they actually face. Catching it early limits the damage; running the engine with contaminated oil does not. Beyond that, radiators, moulded hoses and the expansion tank harden considerably faster in Gulf heat than in the European design case. Replace clamps and O-rings with the hose. Suspension and steering. Double wishbone front and multi-link rear, with control arm bushings as the defining wear item. The progression is consistent: a knock over expansion joints, then vague on-centre steering, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as an alignment fault. Skyhook adaptive dampers were widely optioned and should be replaced in axle pairs — mixing a new damper with a worn one on the same axle gives the control module inconsistent inputs and produces a ride complaint no alignment will fix. A four-wheel alignment is required after any suspension work. Maserati control arms → · Shock absorbers → · Wheel hubs & bearings →
Brakes. Standard, S and Trofeo cars take different disc diameters and pad compounds, and carbon ceramic brakes were optioned on some examples — ceramic discs require ceramic-specific pads and cannot be resurfaced, so confirm which system the car carries before ordering. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number and is single-use. Maserati brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →
Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family: the 3.0 V6, the diesel, the 2.0 Hybrid and the 3.8 V8 all take different elements. Maserati service intervals are defined in time as well as distance, and many Ghiblis cover modest annual mileage — oil degrades by oxidation and moisture contamination as well as by use, so service annually regardless of distance. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines, since the sump plug sealing washer and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a service stalls halfway. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Maserati air & oil filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →
Transmission. Every Ghibli uses the ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic. It is described as long-life fill, but heat-cycled ATF in Gulf conditions degrades well ahead of that assumption. Harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and torque converter lock-up shudder at light throttle around 40–70 km/h are the early signals, and a fluid and pan-filter service at that stage costs a fraction of a mechatronic unit. This is one of the most frequently ordered service items across the Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante platforms. Q4 all-wheel-drive cars have a transfer case with its own fluid requirement. A driveline clunk is often a mount rather than a gearbox fault. Transmission parts → · Transmission mounts →
Electrical and sensors. Battery condition is the first thing to check on any Ghibli electrical complaint. These cars carry a meaningful parasitic load, and a degraded battery produces a multi-module fault cascade that looks alarming on a diagnostic scan and clears entirely once voltage is restored. Beyond that, most module failures turn out to be sensor, earth or connector faults — crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded connectors. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine in a permanently compensated state without ever setting a fault code. We supply genuine and OEM accessories, trim and body components for the Ghibli — including grilles, exterior brightwork, lighting units and interior trim. Lighting and bumper components differ between pre-facelift and facelift cars, and trim part numbers are tied to interior colour and hide codes, so send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. I have milky residue in my coolant — is this a head gasket? On the 3.0 V6 it is far more often the oil-to-coolant heat exchanger, which is a known failure point and a considerably less severe repair than a head gasket. Have it diagnosed properly before assuming the worst, and stop running the engine on contaminated oil in the meantime.
Which Ghibli variants do you supply parts for? All of them — base, S, S Q4, the 3.0 diesel, the Hybrid and the Trofeo, across pre-facelift and facelift cars. See also Quattroporte and Levante, which share substantial mechanical hardware.
Are Ghibli parts the same as Chrysler or Ferrari parts? Partly. The Ghibli uses FCA platform architecture with a Ferrari-built V6, so some items cross-reference each way and many are Maserati-specific. The boundaries are not obvious — send us the VIN rather than cross-referencing on assumption.
How often should the ZF 8HP be serviced? Earlier than the schedule implies, in Gulf conditions. If you are seeing harsh low-speed shifts, delayed engagement from Park or shudder at light throttle, service the fluid and pan filter now rather than monitoring it.
How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.
