Mercedes-Benz Camshaft Adjuster
- 271050140080, 271050334780, 2710503347, 2710501400, 2710502600
- Function: Variable valve timing (VVT) camshaft adjuster — rotates the camshaft relative to the timing chain sprocket to vary valve timing for power, economy and emissions.
- Engine family: The 271 prefix corresponds to the M271 1.8L four-cylinder engine family (Kompressor / CGI / EVO variants), used in C-Class, E-Class, CLK, SLK and CLC models.
- Fitment: ⚠️ Specific model and year applications were not confirmed from catalogue sources at the time of listing, and M271 camshaft adjusters differ between intake and exhaust positions and between engine revisions. Verify position, engine code and VIN before ordering.
- Symptoms of failure: Rattle on cold start, check engine light with camshaft position / timing correlation fault codes, rough idle, and reduced performance.
- Service note: Use a new central bolt on installation, and check the timing chain, tensioner and guides at the same time — chain stretch is a common cause of adjuster-related fault codes on the M271.
- Genuine OEM part — confirm fitment with your VIN before ordering.
