BMW X4 Parts | Genuine OEM — F26, G02, X4 M

OEM BMW X4 Parts

The BMW X4 is the coupe-roofline counterpart to the X3, sharing its longitudinal rear-drive-based platform and mechanical package while differing in body, glass, tailgate and rear suspension tune. Our catalogue covers the F26 and G02, including the M40i and X4 M variants.

Every part is sourced through the official BMW OEM supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Generations of the BMW X4

F26 (2014–2018) — Built alongside the F25 X3 on F30 3 Series underpinnings, with N20, N55 and B47/B48 engines. Mechanically very close to the F25: electric water pumps, charge pipe and boost hose failures, front control arm bushings and the transfer case actuator motor are the same recurring items. Body panels, rear glass, tailgate and lighting are X4-specific.

G02 (2018–2025) — CLAR platform alongside the G01 X3, with B46, B48 and B58 engines and the S58 in the X4 M. The plastic coolant distributor housing on B-series engines is the defining failure point — it seeps onto the block long before any warning appears and is labour-intensive to reach.

About BMW X4 Parts

Brakes. The X4 carries SUV weight with a sportier suspension tune, and works its brakes accordingly. M Sport and standard packages take different disc diameters and pad compounds, and the M40i and X4 M differ again. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use — replace it with the pads. Fitting a standard-compound pad to an M Sport car is the usual cause of the low-speed groan and early fade owners blame on the discs. BMW brake pads & rotors →

Suspension and steering. Front control arm and thrust arm bushings are the defining wear item, and the X4's firmer tune combined with SUV weight works them harder than on the X3. The progression is consistent: steering shimmy under braking, then a knock over expansion joints, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as an alignment fault. BMW supplies these as a complete arm with the bushing pressed in, which is the correct repair. Rear suspension tuning differs from the X3, so check the chassis code rather than assuming an X3 part fits. Control arms → · Shocks & springs → · Wheel hubs & bearings →

Cooling. The N55 and N20 engines use an electric water pump with a defined replacement interval, and proactive replacement is materially cheaper than the overheating damage a failure causes. On B46, B48 and B58 engines the plastic coolant distributor housing seeps long before any temperature warning appears — the first evidence is a sweet smell and a slowly falling expansion tank. In GCC ambient temperatures, hoses and expansion tanks harden considerably faster than the European design case assumed. Coolant parts → · Radiators →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model — an N20 and a B48 in the same F26 body take different oil filter elements. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines: the sump plug seal and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission and xDrive driveline. The ZF 8HP automatic across both generations is described as lifetime-fill but degrades well ahead of that assumption in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals, and a fluid and pan-filter service at that stage costs a fraction of a mechatronic unit. Every X4 is xDrive, so the transfer case is a service item on all of them: its fluid is separate from the gearbox and is frequently overlooked entirely, and the F26 transfer case actuator motor is a known failure producing drivetrain warnings and a shudder on tight low-speed turns. Electrical and sensors. Most faults presented as module failures are sensor or connector faults — crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded connectors at the tail lamp clusters and tailgate harness. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine permanently compensated without ever setting a fault code. Genuine BMW X4 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM accessories and trim for the X4 — interior trim, exterior styling, roof rails and model-specific fittings. Body, glass and tailgate parts differ from the X3 despite the shared platform, so ordering from an X3 listing is unreliable for anything visible. Send your VIN with any trim enquiry. FAQ

Are X4 parts the same as X3 parts? Engine, cooling and many service components are shared, since the F26 is built alongside the F25 and the G02 alongside the G01. Body panels, rear glass, tailgate, lighting and rear suspension tuning are X4-specific. Check the chassis code before ordering anything visible or suspension-related.

Is every X4 all-wheel drive? Yes, the X4 was sold exclusively as xDrive. That means the transfer case is a service item on every car, with fluid separate from the gearbox.

My F26 shows a drivetrain warning and shudders on tight turns — what is it? Most often the transfer case actuator motor, a known fault on this generation. Have the transfer case fluid checked at the same time.

What causes a slowly dropping coolant level with no warning light? On B46, B48 and B58 engines, usually the plastic coolant distributor housing. A sweet smell and a falling expansion tank are the signs to act on.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
