BMW X5 Parts | Genuine OEM — E53, E70, F15, G05

OEM BMW X5 Parts

The BMW X5 is the model that created the performance SUV segment and remains one of the most actively serviced BMWs in the Gulf. Air suspension, V8 and straight-six turbo powertrains, xDrive driveline hardware and considerable kerb weight combine to make genuine OEM specification matter here. Our catalogue covers the E53, E70, F15 and G05, including the X5 M and M50i variants.

Every part is sourced through the official BMW OEM supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Generations of the BMW X5

E53 (1999–2006) — The original, with M54 six and M62/N62 V8s. Rear self-levelling air suspension on many cars, and the transfer case and its actuator are common failure points. Cooling system plastics on this generation are consumable rather than lifetime, particularly in Gulf heat.

E70 (2006–2013) — N52 and N55 sixes, N62 and N63 V8s, plus the diesel range. The N63 places turbochargers and cooling hardware in the engine vee, making leaks labour-intensive to reach; valve stem seals are a known N63 concern. Air suspension, transfer case actuator faults and front control arm bushings dominate parts demand.

F15 (2013–2018) — N55, N57 diesel and N63 V8, plus the xDrive40e plug-in hybrid. Electric water pumps, air suspension components and transfer case service are the recurring items. This generation is heavily represented in the used market regionally.

G05 (2018–) — CLAR platform, B58 six, N63 V8, S63 in the X5 M, plus the xDrive45e plug-in hybrid. Two-axle air suspension is widely fitted. The plastic coolant distributor housing on B58 engines is the known failure point.

About BMW X5 Parts

Air suspension. This is the system that defines X5 running costs. Air springs, compressor, valve block and ride height sensors form a linked system rather than independent corners. A leaking air spring left in service will destroy the compressor by making it run continuously — by far the most common way a manageable repair becomes an expensive one. Diagnose and replace the spring and compressor together, and inspect the valve block and lines at the same time. In GCC heat, air spring rubber ages faster than the European design case assumed. Brakes. An X5 is heavy and works its brakes hard. M Sport and standard packages take different disc diameters and pad compounds, and the M50i and X5 M differ again. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use — replace it with the pads. On cars with the electromechanical parking brake, rear calipers must be retracted electronically before pad service; forcing them mechanically damages the actuator. BMW brake pads & rotors →

Suspension and steering. Beyond the air springs, front control arm and thrust arm bushings are the recurring wear item, accelerated by SUV weight. The progression is consistent: steering shimmy under braking, then a knock over expansion joints, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as an alignment fault. BMW supplies these as a complete arm with the bushing pressed in, which is the correct repair. Control arms → · Wheel hubs & bearings →

Cooling. N62 and N63 V8s carry cooling and turbocharger hardware in the vee, so a seeping hose or thermostat housing is expensive to reach — replace clamps, hoses and O-rings while the area is already open rather than returning for a second visit. The N62 coolant transfer pipe is a known and labour-intensive failure. N52 and N55 engines use an electric water pump with a defined replacement interval. On B58 engines the plastic coolant distributor housing seeps long before any temperature warning appears. An SUV's higher cooling load in Gulf ambient temperatures makes all of this more acute than the European design case assumed. Coolant parts → · Radiators →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model — the N55, N63 and B58 all take different oil filter elements, and the diesels differ again. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines: the sump plug seal and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a materially shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission and xDrive driveline. The ZF 8HP automatic across F15 and G05, and the 6HP on E70, take different fluid specifications. The 8HP is described as lifetime-fill but degrades well ahead of that in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals. The transfer case is a service item on every X5: its fluid is separate from the gearbox and frequently overlooked entirely, and the transfer case actuator motor is a recurring failure across E70 and F15 generations, producing drivetrain warnings and a shudder on tight low-speed turns. Electrical and sensors. Most X5 faults presented as module failures are sensor or connector faults — ride height sensors, crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded connectors at the tail lamp clusters and tailgate harness. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine permanently compensated without ever setting a fault code. For xDrive40e and xDrive45e models, battery-circuit coolant pumps and charging hardware are model-year specific — send us the VIN. Electrical parts → · Oxygen sensors →

Genuine BMW X5 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM accessories and trim for the X5 — interior trim, exterior styling, roof rails, tow bar components and model-specific fittings. Trim part numbers are tied tightly to interior colour code and equipment level, and seven-seat cars differ from five-seat throughout the rear cabin. Send your VIN with any trim enquiry. FAQ

Which X5 generations do you supply? E53, E70, F15 and the current G05, including X5 M variants. Parts are mapped to chassis code and production date rather than model name alone.

My X5 is sitting low at the rear — what do I need? Usually a leaking air spring. Replace the compressor at the same time: a compressor that has been running against a leak has been overworked and typically fails soon after, so replacing the spring alone often means a second repair.

My car shows a drivetrain warning and shudders on tight turns — what is it? Most often the transfer case actuator motor, a recurring fault on E70 and F15 cars. Have the transfer case fluid condition checked at the same time.

What should I watch on an N63 V8? Turbocharger and cooling hardware sit in the engine vee and are labour-intensive to reach, and valve stem seals are a known concern. Replace surrounding hoses and seals while the area is open.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
