Genuine OEM Engine Mounts for European Cars
Engine and gearbox mounts carry the powertrain and isolate its vibration from the body. When they fail, the symptoms are unmistakable but frequently misattributed: vibration through the cabin at idle, a shunt or clunk on gear engagement and throttle transitions, and a driveline noise that owners regularly assume is a gearbox fault. Replacing a failed mount is one of the cheapest ways to make a car feel new again.
Mounts are engine-code specific, not model specific. Two cars in the same body with different engines take different mounts, and hydraulic mounts are not interchangeable with solid ones even where they physically fit. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.
When to Replace Engine Mounts
Vibration at idle that disappears above 1,500 rpm is the classic early signal, most noticeable in Drive with the brake applied.
A clunk on gear engagement or when lifting off the throttle indicates the powertrain is moving further than the mount should allow.
Visible fluid around a hydraulic mount means the damping fluid has escaped and the mount is now working as a solid rubber block.
Replace in sets where the design intends it. A single new mount alongside worn ones carries disproportionate load and fails early. On common configurations — the F10 5 Series and F30 3 Series among them — mounts are best replaced as a pair.
Heat accelerates it. Rubber and hydraulic mounts degrade faster in Gulf ambient temperatures than in the European design case, so calendar age matters as much as mileage.

FAQ
Is my vibration a mount or a gearbox problem? Vibration at idle that clears with revs, and a clunk on gear engagement, point to mounts. A true gearbox fault more often shows as shift quality problems under load. Mounts are far cheaper to eliminate first.
Should I replace both mounts at once? On most configurations yes. A new mount working alongside a worn one takes disproportionate load and fails early.
Can I fit a solid mount instead of a hydraulic one? Not without consequence. Hydraulic mounts are damped by design, and substituting a solid mount transmits noticeably more vibration into the cabin even where it bolts up.
How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking. Free shipping across the UAE and USA.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
- Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
- OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
- Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
