Audi A7 Parts | Genuine OEM — C7, C8, S7, RS 7

OEM Audi A7 Parts

The A7 Sportback is Audi's five-door coupé, sharing its platform and the majority of its running gear with the A6 while carrying its own body, glass and interior. Our catalogue covers the C7 (2010–2018) and C8 (2018 onward), including the S7 and RS 7 performance variants.

Every part is matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. The A6 relationship is the practical starting point: mechanical, cooling, suspension and driveline components largely cross-reference, while body panels, glass, the frameless doors and the powered tailgate are A7-specific. See A6 parts →. Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.

Generations of the A7

C7 (2010–2018) — The original Sportback, with the 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6, TDI diesels, and the S7 and RS 7 above them. The 2014 facelift revised lighting and front-end components. Front control arm wear, the 3.0 TFSI thermostat housing in the vee, and supercharger intercooler pump failures are the recurring items.

C8 (2018–) — MLB Evo platform with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, air suspension optional, all-wheel steering on some variants, and driver assistance hardware that is model-year specific and frequently revised.

About A7 Parts

Frameless doors and the powered tailgate. Worth noting on this model specifically. The A7 uses frameless door glass, and the window seals and drop-glass mechanism are wear items that suffer under Gulf sun and UV — wind noise and water ingress usually trace to perished seals rather than misaligned glass, so replace the seals before chasing alignment. The powered tailgate with its integrated spoiler has its own struts, motor and position sensors, and a tailgate that stops part-way is more often a failed strut or sensor than a motor.

Suspension and steering. The multi-link front suspension carries four control arms per side, with the upper forward arms typically wearing first. The symptom order is consistent: a knock over expansion joints, then steering wandering slightly on centre, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as alignment. Because the arms share load, replacing the affected side as a set is the durable repair. On air-sprung cars, struts and compressor are a linked system — a leaking strut left in service burns out the compressor by making it run continuously. Cooling. The 3.0 TFSI V6 places its thermostat housing in the engine vee where it is labour-intensive to reach — the argument for replacing it and the surrounding hoses proactively when the engine is already open. Supercharged cars run an intercooler circuit with its own electric pump, separate from the main loop and frequently overlooked until it fails. Stay with G13 coolant specification. In Gulf conditions hoses and expansion tanks harden well ahead of the European design case. Coolant parts → · Radiators → · Water pumps →

Brakes. Specification follows the PR code on the vehicle data sticker rather than the model. S7 and RS 7 differ substantially from the standard car, and the RS 7 was offered with carbon ceramic — which requires ceramic-specific pads and cannot be resurfaced. The wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use. Audi brake pads & rotors → · Brake rotors →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model year. Audi's service regime assumes VW 504 00 or 508 00 specification oil. Order the complete service kit — the oil filter housing O-ring and sump plug sealing washer are single-use and the items most often missing mid-job. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission. Quattro A7s use either the DL501 seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch or the ZF 8HP torque-converter automatic depending on variant and year, and the two take entirely different fluid specifications. S tronic will not tolerate a skipped fluid service — jerky low-speed take-up, shudder pulling away from rest and hesitation between first and second are the early warnings, and a fluid and filter service then costs a fraction of mechatronic work. Confirm which gearbox your car carries before ordering. Transmission parts → · Transmission mounts → · Audi engine mounts →

Electrical and sensors. Most module-failure complaints resolve to sensor, earth or connector faults. The ECU is calibrated around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading slightly off runs the engine permanently compensated without setting a code. The electromechanical parking brake fault is usually a failed actuator motor or corroded connector rather than a module, and calipers must be retracted electronically before rear pad service. Genuine A7 Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM trim, body and lighting components for the A7 Sportback. Body panels, glass and the tailgate assembly are A7-specific and do not cross-reference to the A6 despite the shared platform — send your VIN with any body or trim enquiry. Browse body parts → or contact our team.

FAQ

Are A7 parts the same as A6 parts? Mechanically, largely yes — same platform, same running gear. Body panels, glass, frameless doors and the tailgate are A7-specific. Verify by VIN rather than assumption.

Wind noise from the doors — is the glass misaligned? On a frameless-door car, usually perished window seals rather than alignment, particularly after years of Gulf sun. Replace the seals first.

My tailgate stops part-way. More often a failed gas strut or position sensor than the motor. Diagnose before replacing the expensive component.

Which gearbox does my A7 have? Either the DL501 S tronic or the ZF 8HP depending on variant and year. They take different fluids — send us the VIN before ordering.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse with full tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
