OEM BMW 5 Series Parts

The BMW 5 Series is the executive saloon that anchors the range, and after the 3 Series it is the highest-volume platform in our catalogue. Our range covers the E39, E60 and E61, F10, F11 and F07, the G30 and G31, and the current G60 — including 520i, 523i, 528i, 530i, 535i, 540i, the diesel range, and the M5 across E60, F10 and F90 generations.

Every part is sourced through the official BMW OEM supply chain and matched to chassis code, engine code and production date. Send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Generations of the BMW 5 Series

E39 (1995–2003) — Widely regarded as the high point of the line and still well represented in the Gulf. M52 and M54 sixes, M62 V8, S62 in the M5. Cooling system plastics, front thrust arm bushings, window regulators and the pneumatic and vacuum lines are the recurring items. Cooling components on this generation are consumable rather than lifetime.

E60 / E61 (2003–2010) — N52 and N54 sixes, N62 V8, S85 V10 in the M5. Known service concerns are the electric water pump, VANOS, valve stem seals on N62 cars, and on N54 cars the high-pressure fuel pump and injectors. The E61 touring adds self-levelling rear air suspension with its own components.

F10 / F11 / F07 (2010–2017) — The highest-volume generation in the used market. N20, N55, N63 V8 and B48/B58 engines; S63 in the F10 M5. Engine mounts are a defining service item here, producing vibration and drivetrain shunting. Electric water pumps, charge pipes and front control arm bushings recur constantly. N63 V8 cars have their own well-documented service requirements around the turbochargers and valve stem seals.

G30 / G31 (2017–2023) — CLAR platform, B48 and B58 engines, N63 and S63 V8s, plus the 530e plug-in hybrid. Coolant distributor housings on B-series engines are the known failure point.

G60 (2023–) — The current car, including the i5 electric variants. Part numbers revise frequently within a model year and high-voltage components are model-year specific — VIN confirmation is the only reliable route.

About BMW 5 Series Parts

Brakes. M Sport and standard brake packages take different disc diameters and different pad compounds, and the M5 differs again. The pad wear sensor is a separate part number front and rear and is single-use — replace it with the pads. Fitting a standard-compound pad to an M Sport car is the usual cause of the low-speed groan and early fade owners blame on the discs. BMW brake pads & rotors →

Suspension and steering. Front control arm and thrust arm bushings are the defining wear item across every generation, with the familiar progression: steering shimmy under braking, then a knock over expansion joints, then inner-edge tyre wear misdiagnosed as an alignment fault. BMW supplies these as a complete arm with the bushing pressed in, which is the correct repair. Touring models with self-levelling rear suspension add an air spring, compressor and valve block — a leaking spring left in service will burn out the compressor by making it run continuously, so diagnose and replace together. Cooling. The N52, N54, N55 and N20 engines all use an electric water pump with a defined replacement interval; proactive replacement is materially cheaper than the overheating damage a failure causes. N62 and N63 V8s place the cooling and turbocharger hardware in the vee, which makes any leak a labour-intensive job — worth replacing hoses, clamps and O-rings proactively while the area is already open. On B48 and B58 engines the plastic coolant distributor housing seeps long before any temperature warning appears. In GCC ambient temperatures, hoses and expansion tanks harden well ahead of the European design case. Coolant parts → · Radiators →

Filters and service consumables. Filters follow the engine family rather than the model — an N20 and a B48 in the same F10 body take different oil filter elements, and the N63 V8 differs again. Order the complete service kit rather than individual lines: the sump plug seal and filter housing O-ring are single-use and are the items most often missing when a job stalls halfway. Cabin filters in Gulf dust deserve a shorter interval than the book figure. Air filters → · Oil filters → · Service kits →

Transmission and mounts. The ZF 8HP automatic across F10, G30 and G60, the earlier 6HP on E60, and the DCT in F10 M5 cars all take different fluid specifications. The 8HP is described as lifetime-fill but degrades well ahead of that in Gulf heat — harsh 1–2 shifts, delayed engagement from Park and lock-up shudder around 40–70 km/h are the early signals. Engine mounts deserve particular attention on the F10: failed mounts cause noticeable vibration and drivetrain shunting, and are one of the most frequently ordered items for this generation. Electrical and sensors. Most 5 Series faults presented as module failures are sensor or connector faults — crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensors, and corroded connectors at the tail lamp clusters and boot lid harness. The ECU calibration is built around the OEM sensor's output curve, so an aftermarket unit reading a few percent off runs the engine in a permanently compensated state without ever setting a fault code. For 530e and i5 models, battery-circuit coolant pumps and charging hardware are model-year specific — send us the VIN. Electrical parts → · Oxygen sensors →

Genuine BMW 5 Series Accessories

We supply genuine and OEM accessories and trim for the 5 Series — interior trim, exterior styling and model-specific fittings across every generation. Trim part numbers are tied tightly to interior colour code and equipment level, so send your VIN with any trim enquiry rather than ordering from a model-year match. FAQ

Which 5 Series generations do you supply? E39, E60/E61, F10/F11/F07, G30/G31 and the current G60, including M5 variants. Parts are mapped to chassis code and production date rather than model name alone.

What are the most common F10 repairs? Engine mounts, electric water pumps, front control arm bushings, and charge pipe or boost hose failures on turbocharged cars. N63 V8 models have additional turbocharger and valve stem seal considerations.

Do you supply touring self-levelling suspension parts? Yes — air springs, compressors and valve blocks for E61, F11 and G31 tourings. Replace a leaking spring and the compressor together; running a compressor against a leak destroys it.

How do I identify my engine? The engine code is on your VIN record and the engine bay identification label. Filters, cooling parts and service kits follow the engine family rather than the model year, so it is the single most useful detail you can give us.

How quickly will my order ship? In-stock orders dispatch from our UAE or USA warehouse depending on availability, with full tracking from dispatch to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Genuine Parts: These are the exact components installed at the factory, arriving in the original vehicle manufacturer’s branded packaging (e.g., Porsche or BMW).
    • OEM Parts: These are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the car brands (e.g., Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder) but are sold in the supplier’s own packaging, often at a more competitive price.
    • Aftermarket Parts: These are third-party components designed to meet or exceed original specifications.
